Amphawa: An old town with a modern twist.

The laid-back atmosphere of this place makes it a perfect spot for a relaxing weekend getaway. Visitors can shed their formal attire and embrace a more casual style, opting for comfortable jeans and shorts. The overall vibe is one of tranquility and simplicity, making it an ideal destination for those seeking a break from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

This time, the two of us drove from Bangkok.

🚗 We then took a quick trip to the Umbrella Market, opting for a midday visit to witness the umbrellas closing twice, at 11:10 AM and 11:30 AM. This unique spectacle is a must-see in Thailand. (Parking is available at Wat Ban Laem.) From the parking lot, walk straight ahead to find the Mae Klong Railway Station on your right and the Umbrella Market on your left.

As the train prepares to depart from the station, vendors swiftly pack up their stalls and umbrellas, transforming the bustling market into an "unseen" spectacle of Thailand's unique "umbrella-closing market" phenomenon.

If you have children with you, please supervise them closely, as the train is very close to us.

People on the train leaned out to greet us cheerfully.

Once the train has started moving, you will see the atmosphere of the vendors setting up their stalls again.

We then checked in to our accommodation.

🏡 "House of Passion" is located near the Amphawa Floating Market. Upon entering, you will be greeted by a beautiful lobby.

This resort boasts a unique blend of vintage and loft styles, offering a variety of aesthetically pleasing corners perfect for capturing memorable photos.

The Ruen Senaha resort features a swimming pool, making it an ideal destination for a refreshing dip during the hot weather in Amphawa.

The accommodation comprises approximately 24 units. We stayed in the Duplex Suite, a two-story room connected by a white spiral staircase. The exposed concrete walls add to the room's aesthetic appeal.

This venue is perfectly suited for conferences and seminars, offering a dedicated conference room measuring 6.00m x 9.00m x 3.50m. The room is equipped with an LED screen, projector, and microphones, accommodating up to 60 attendees. Notably, the conference room is a wooden structure directly adjacent to the swimming pool.

This is the wooden room.

The orange glow of the streetlights began to dominate the evening sky.

✨Amphawa Floating Market is a great place to stroll around. We haven't been here for a long time, and this time we feel that the place has been decorated more. There are many more shops, and the ideas of each shop are even more diverse. There is everything from food, clothes, trinkets, and household items to old things from our childhood.

After a long walk, we were famished and decided to have lunch at "Rim Rabeang," a charming blue wooden house decorated with quirky 70s toys. The open-air setting by the water offered a refreshing breeze, perfect for enjoying a light drink. We indulged in a feast of Caesar salad, BBQ pork ribs, seafood pizza, mango smoothie, and Berry Berry.

After finishing the meal, I heard that there was a room on the balcony, so I took a picture to share with you.

This is a blank paragraph.

The vibrant colors of Amphawa's night market have faded.
