Koh Samet during low season
No matter where we go, we always seem to encounter storms. 555555
Hello everyone, let's take a look at a cool and relaxing review.
I'm going to share my experience of a cool and chilly trip amidst the storms.
Let's start with finding accommodation. Initially, we searched online and booked a stay at Runa Runa The Best Guesthouse. Then, we waited for the day of our trip.
However, a few days later, a storm hit. My mind started to race. 5555 I had to call the guesthouse immediately to inquire about the situation and whether it was still possible to travel.
The guesthouse wasn't sure if there would be a storm on the day of our arrival, so we could only wait and see. 5555
We traveled on May 28-29, 2017.
The journey begins in Nakhon Pathom, then proceeds to Mo Chit, where a connecting bus is taken to Ekamai. Finally, a boat is boarded to reach Koh Samet.
Take a boat from Buddy Tour Pier
The boat will take you directly to the front of our accommodation. However, on the return trip, you will need to board a slower boat at the pier.
We then walked from the beach to our accommodation.
After checking in to our accommodation, storing our belongings, and changing our clothes, we rented a motorbike for 300 baht per day.
We then went to eat at a restaurant located in front of our accommodation, next to the police station and hospital.
The food is incredibly delicious! I absolutely love this restaurant. 555
The car rental shop will have a map of Koh Samet and recommend each beach, telling you what it's like. The people here are very friendly.
We followed the route, with signs guiding us along the way. We made occasional stops, but the rain and slippery roads prevented us from venturing further.
This is the island's viewpoint. The atmosphere is cool and comfortable. Opposite, there is an entrance to Ao Lung Dam.
Next, we will continue to Coral Bay, located at the end of the bay. There is a very beautiful viewpoint.
You can choose which side to visit first. 5555 It's great.
This is the west side. You can also see other nearby islands.
This side is the east side.
Let's continue to Ao Wai. This bay is incredibly beautiful.
Fine white sand, very quiet, suitable for those who love peace and quiet.
We drove back to Ao Phrao, which is just as beautiful as Ao Wai. The water is crystal clear, and you can go snorkeling to see the fish.
We couldn't resist taking a dip in the bay, but the fun was short-lived as rain soon arrived. We had to find shelter from the downpour just as we were enjoying ourselves.
After the rain stopped, we decided to return to our accommodation. After showering, we went for a walk on Hat Tra Kaeo beach.
Then, I went to find something to eat near my accommodation.
Approximately 8 pm, we went out to watch the fire baton show. Since we arrived very late, we ended up standing at the back to watch.
After the show, we took a short stroll before heading back to our accommodation to rest.
After that, we went to sleep.
Waking up at seven in the morning, I initially planned to watch the sunrise. However, the sky was completely dark when I woke up, so I could only go back to sleep. I woke up again at nine in the morning. After showering and getting dressed, I looked for something to eat and then went sightseeing before returning. We walked near the beach, where there was Ao Phai.
Upon checkout, we returned the car and waited before departing.
We boarded a shared taxi at the local stand.
We can take a taxi to the pier for 100 baht. If we don't take a taxi, we will have to wait for more people before the boat leaves. The boat fare is 10-40 baht.
Upon arriving at the port, we checked the arrival time of the ship and waited for it while relaxing.
And then our boat arrived. I must say, the boat ride back was incredibly relaxing. There were comfortable chairs to sit in and enjoy the view, so much so that I almost fell asleep.
It's time for the boat to leave. Goodbye, Koh Samet. I must visit again.
