Do you ever feel the same way? Sometimes I get tired of shopping malls, tired of shopping, tired of buying souvenirs, and tired of being asked to buy things. If you're nodding your head right now, you're probably approaching your 40s. Haha! Okay, let's not talk about age anymore.

The city's entrance is breathtaking, leaving everyone in awe and reaching for their cameras to capture its beauty.

Due to the narrow streets of the city, large vehicles are unable to enter. We had to park our car in the city's public square and walk into Cesky Krumlov with our luggage. While on the main road, the streets were smooth and the sound of our luggage dragging was non-existent. However, as soon as we entered the city limits, the sound of our luggage dragging was like an announcement, "Czech Republic, we have arrived!"

Just run the red light, we're almost there.

The city also has a map. Oh, this is getting interesting.

Imagine the feeling of walking up a hill and being greeted by a view like this. It's impossible not to be amazed.

Tonight, we are staying at a hotel right on the square. (In Europe, the area around the city square is the most developed.) In Thailand, the location is comparable to staying in the Siam area.

We arrived at the hotel in the late afternoon, just as the rain began to fall. Worried about the fading light, we decided to climb Cesky Krumlov Castle.

The path leading up to the castle is a steep climb. The ground within the city is made up of rectangular bricks. Locals informed me that these are new bricks, but they are made to resemble the old ones. If a brick on the ground is damaged, it is replaced with one of a similar color and size. The meticulous care taken with this city is due to its UNESCO World Heritage status, which it has held since 1992.

The steep ascent of the castle would be slippery and difficult to navigate if it were entirely made of stone. Therefore, wooden planks have been installed in certain sections to provide a more stable walking surface. It is important to note that the slippery conditions are not a concern for humans, but rather for horses.

Turning back to look, oh my, it's raining! Let's hurry up and keep walking.

The path is indeed very steep. As I walked up, I felt a little out of breath. On the wall, it looks like large bricks are arranged to form a wall, right? Actually, it's not. It's a painting. It was painted while the plaster was still wet. If you touch it with your hand, it has no dimension. It's all painted.

Walk a little further from here and you will find a stone bridge connecting the two buildings.

And here's the view from the bridge, but it's not the best. Walk a little further down the path and you'll pass a small window where you can see the whole city. Just past this window is a small entrance door. It's actually part of the restaurant on the castle, but since so many tourists get lost, they've opened it to the public.

Here, this is the view.

The view was breathtaking, but shortly after we started our descent, the rain began to pour. We rushed back to the hotel to take shelter, as the combination of rain and cold proved too much to bear. We decided to call it a day and retreat to the comfort of our hotel room.

The rain has stopped. Now we can go for a walk in the city. It's around 8 pm now, and all the shops are closed. The streets are so quiet that if we laugh loudly, we might wake up the whole city.

Yes, at eight o'clock in the evening... The charm of this city is its tranquility.

The Enchanting Charm of Cesky Krumlov

The air is pleasantly cool after the rain, leaving a refreshing and invigorating atmosphere. Cesky Krumlov, though not a bustling metropolis, offers a unique charm that captivates the senses. While it lacks the typical tourist attractions like souvenir shops and shopping malls, its serene beauty provides a welcome respite from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

Strolling through the quaint streets, one can't help but slow down, allowing time for contemplation and deeper appreciation of the surroundings. The absence of distractions fosters meaningful conversations with companions, creating lasting memories. Cesky Krumlov offers not only visual delight but also a sense of tranquility that rejuvenates the soul.

As the day draws to a close, the allure of the castle bathed in the golden light of dawn beckons. With anticipation for the coming day, it's time to rest and prepare for the exploration that awaits.

Good morning! This is the view from my room in the heart of the square.

We thought we woke up early, but the sun woke up earlier than us. It started working so early.

I'll take anything along the way, even 5 or 10 baht views.

Four people hurried up to the castle, to the same corner, the same place, but the beauty was not the same.

The descent is still beautiful.

This morning, we descended from the castle via a different route and stumbled upon a public park. We went for a run along the riverbank, but it was freezing cold, around 6 degrees Celsius, which felt more like 2 degrees.

This morning, we must bid farewell to this city. If you love Prague, you will surely fall in love with Cesky Krumlov.
