Train to...Saraburi (budget under 500 baht)
Today, we will take you on a journey.
Let's go on a trip to Saraburi province.
Let's explore the possibilities for a one-day trip in Saraburi.
Let's start with a brief introduction. Previously, we intended to go to...
A day trip to Kanchanaburi, but the train leaves very early in the morning.
Our travel companions were unable to leave because their dormitory is located in Rangsit.
We decided to change our plans that night.
Let's go to Saraburi. At least there are waterfalls there. The train ride isn't too long either.
Let's go to Saraburi!
● Tourist attractions visited on the day trip
>Coffee Mill
Mork Lek Waterfall
>Thai-Danish Dairy Farm
● Roundtrip transportation
We traveled by train to our destination, but opted for a van on our return journey.
We boarded the train at Hua Lamphong Station, departing at 8:20 AM.
This is an express train that takes only 2 hours to travel, which is very fast.
This train does not stop at all stations. It only stops at major stations.
On the way back, we opted for a van.
According to the respondents, taking a van is...
It takes 1.5 hours to reach the Victory Monument. However, when we went to buy tickets for the van, ...
We asked how many hours it would take, and the answer was 3 and a half hours.
We quickly turned to look at him, thinking he was joking.
He said he was telling the truth. I was like, if I had known the van ride would take that long...
I'm back on the train!

Our journey began at Hua Lamphong Station, where we boarded the 8:20 AM train.
The final destination of this train is Nong Khai.
The train fare is 50 baht for the express train.
The two-hour journey was incredibly fast.
We passed Saraburi station, but we didn't get off!
We will arrive at Kaeng Khoi Junction Station.
The train arrived on time today.
Exiting the train tracks, you will encounter this road.
We will walk forward to turn left to the coffee shop.
Map to the coffee mill
As we walked, we veered off the left bend.
We will encounter a multitude of vendors selling their wares.
The market may be crowded today because it is Sunday.
The vendor claimed the crêpe was a "fake crêpe for children" when we ordered it.
Children will be tempted by the sight of this, priced at 20 baht.
After turning left, we continued walking.
We crossed the street to the opposite side. The alley entrance is next to the motorcycle shop, and there will be a sign pointing to the coffee shop.
Then walk straight ahead. If you can't find it, you can open Google Maps.

The store's decoration is very beautiful.
We ordered water to drink.
The taste is similar, but the picture shows a blended lemonade.
55 baht per glass.
There are also photo spots outside.
After the trip, I started to feel very hungry.
We came across a noodle shop.
Shop name: "Fresh Vegetable Noodles"
For sale on the way to the coffee factory.
This restaurant's noodle soup is incredibly delicious.
The queue was incredibly long when we first walked past, a testament to its immense popularity.
The restaurant was packed to the brim.
After we have eaten, we will go to the Mor Luang Waterfall.
According to local residents, we need to take a bus or a shared taxi (songthaew) in front of Kaeng Khoi Temple.
We continued walking, and luckily for us, a car came by. We asked the driver if he was going to the Mow Lek Waterfall.
The driver said, "Go, go, get on! What are you waiting for?"
Directions from Roong Si Coffee Shop to Wat Kaeng Khoi Temple
Fortunately, we got on the bus just 100 meters before reaching the temple. After we parked in front of the temple, the villagers crowded onto the bus. Look how crowded it is!
I saw the vegetables of the villagers next door. I asked them what kind of vegetables they were, and they said they were kale, but they were all wilted.
The leaves were beautiful when I first bought them, but the wait for the minibus I was taking was extremely long.
We waited for two hours before the bus finally arrived. We were stunned (the buses come infrequently, and this was the first one in a while).
And then they let us off here. We've been sitting here for a while now. It's really far away.
However, if we go to the 7 Maidens Waterfall, this car can pass, but it will be another 10 kilometers away. So let's get off here.
The fare for a songthaew is 20 baht.
And then we headed to the Mork Fa Waterfall.
Villagers say this bridge connects two provinces. The side we are standing on is Saraburi, but if we walk to the other side, it will become Nakhon Ratchasima.
After relaxing and taking photos for a while, we decided to move on.
We will continue to the Thai-Danish dairy farm.
The water level is currently low, making it a less than ideal time for swimming. However, there are still children playing in the water.
After we walked out to the place where the two rows dropped us off, we were on the side of the waterfall.
How do I get to the Thai-Danish Dairy Farm?
My friend said she wanted to walk, and it was only a kilometer away. But look at the sun! It's so sunny.
They would definitely faint before reaching their destination. However, when they asked the security guard, he took pity on them and offered to give them a ride.
I was very happy to hear that, because the security guard told me that if I waited for a shared taxi, it would take a very long time, 2-3 hours, for one to arrive.
We had to trouble the security guard after all. (This is a souvenir photo of the kind security guard.)
Upon arriving at the farm, we purchased tickets for a scenic tram ride.
Student price: 80 baht
Student 100 baht
Adult 120 baht
We stopped to buy yogurt before boarding the tram.
Enjoying the view while eating, the atmosphere is amazing.
12 baht per cup. Very cheap!
This area is extremely vast.
The lecturer mentioned that this location has been used for filming numerous movies and TV shows. It is a popular filming destination.
This location boasts an atmosphere ranked 7th in the world.
The tram took us to our first stop, where we learned how to make liquid fertilizer from milk that did not meet quality standards.
This area is being prepared for planting sunflowers, but it is unclear when exactly. You can call to inquire for more information.
Our instructors will be the ones to take us to the van station.
After inquiring about transportation options, a kind individual offered to give me a ride. I was incredibly grateful for their assistance and impressed by their generosity.
The intern from Silpakorn University is incredibly approachable. Their explanations are excellent, and their guidance is top-notch.
Hello, cow.
You can try milking the cows yourself! It's a very soft and gentle experience.
Everyone, let's try it out!
The farm also offers cow milking. The cows here seem to have a strong milk flow, almost snatching the bottle away! 55
The final stop is a cowboy show venue where you can also try horseback riding.
Only 50 baht per person, taking approximately 5-10 minutes.
This place also offers water cycling.
This ice cream is incredibly delicious. If you visit, be sure to try it! It costs 35 baht per cup.
The souvenir zone mainly sells dairy products.
It's time to go home.
On the way back, the kind instructor gave me a ride on his motorbike to the van terminal.
After purchasing a van ticket for the return trip, I stopped by a nearby porridge shop for a bite to eat.
It was tasty (but not very much), and because we were hungry, we ate it all. 555
The bus stop is right in front of the clock tower. The bus stop is in Muak Lek.
Or you can take the train back, as the time is similar. The train will be half the price, but it will be an hour slower.
We took the BTS because we thought it would be a quick ride, but it took just as long as the train.
However, if it were an express train like the morning service, it would be much faster. Unfortunately, only fast trains are available in the evening.
The journey from Muak Lek station takes approximately 4 hours.
However, if you take a songthaew back to Kaeng Khoi station, it will only take 3 hours, which is considered quite fast.
This trip was truly fun and tiring, but it was totally worth it.
