The nature study trail at "Pran Buri Forest Park"

The mangrove forest nature study trail, walk on the elevated wooden bridge, stretching around in a circle, about 1 km. under the mangrove forest, beautiful and refreshing views. Guaranteed to be fun.

Pran Buri Forest Park was originally a project initiated by Her Majesty Queen Sirikit. The park covers an area of approximately 1,984 rai of the Khlong Kao-Khlong Khoi National Reserved Forest, consisting of mangrove forests and the Pran Buri River flowing through the central part of the forest. Currently, the Royal Forest Department has declared 700 rai of the area as a forest park, which is under the supervision of the Phetchaburi Forest Management Office.

As we enter, the walkway transforms into an elevated wooden bridge, offering a comfortable and relaxing stroll. The lush greenery provides ample shade, keeping us cool and refreshed. The serene atmosphere invites us to amble leisurely, enjoying the fresh air and picturesque views.

As you walk across the wooden bridge, informative boards identify the various tree species and provide detailed descriptions of their unique characteristics. This educational experience offers a wealth of knowledge.

This area is home to various mangrove species, including white mangrove (Avicennia marina), grey mangrove (Rhizophora mucronata), black mangrove (Bruguiera gymnorrhiza), and red mangrove (Rhizophora apiculata).

To reach the park from Hua Hin, take Phetkasem Road and turn left at kilometer 246. Continue for approximately 4 kilometers until you reach Pran Buri Forest Park.
