...The body craves contact with nature...
However, there is only one day available.
He is an avid climber.
..is a powerful person.
..
..
I recommend a trip to Khao No, Nakhon Sawan. The heart calls for it.
Exhausted...
Legs are shaking...
Shaking hands..
The view is absolutely breathtaking! It's definitely worth the visit.
Tips and Questions
- The best time to hike is in the morning before 10 am, as it gets hot later in the day. Alternatively, you can hike in the late afternoon around 3:30 pm.
- The hike takes about 40-60 minutes, depending on your fitness level.
- If you are driving, there are two parking options:
- In front of the trailhead, where locals will watch your car for a fee of around 40 baht (advantage: closer to the trailhead).
- Inside the temple, where there is a secure gate to keep monkeys out (advantage: safer from monkeys, disadvantage: further from the trailhead).
- If you are hiking between 10 am and 3 pm, it is recommended to wear gloves as the monkey bars can get hot.
- Bring plenty of water, at least one bottle per person.
- Be careful if you are hiking during the rainy season, as the monkey bars can be slippery.

Now that you have read my tips, let's start the journey!
I started my trip from Bangkok around 3:30 am.
The distance is approximately 280-300 km, driving through Ayutthaya, Ang Thong, and Nakhon Sawan.
Oh!! I stopped for a quick bite in Nakhon Sawan city at a coffee & breakfast shop.
They had coffee, hot milk, fried eggs, soft-boiled eggs, and toast.
After that, I drove for another 50 km and arrived at my destination.
..
I captured some aerial shots to give you a full view.
The road in the middle is the entrance to Khao No and Khao Kaeo.
The mountain on the left is where we will be hiking.
The first step is a concrete staircase. I overheard locals saying there are over 700 steps.
I didn't count them myself, though. I intended to, but I got too tired and forgot. Haha!
There are rest stops along the way.
After climbing over 700 concrete steps, taking breaks along the way (this section is quite tiring),
you will reach the "monkey stairs," which consist of about 5-6 steps, and then you will reach the top of the mountain.
(For those who come in the late morning when the sun is out, don't forget to bring gloves, as the metal railings can get hot.)
Here are the monkey stairs...
Almost there.
We have arrived!!!! The corner of the masses

Please provide the text you would like translated from Thai to English.
After taking photos at the popular spot, there will be the last monkey ladder before reaching the top of the mountain.
At the top, there will be a Buddha statue for us to worship.
Walk slowly... walk slowly...
We have arrived!! Amazing... It took about 1 hour to climb.
And I secretly took some pictures from the drone to share with you. I want you to see the atmosphere of the monkey stairs, which made my legs and hands tremble.
I'm afraid of heights, but I also like to climb. 555+
There is a hidden agenda.

After descending the mountain, the first thing I did was to grab a cold bottle of soda (actually, I drank 2 bottles, haha!).
And here is the temple parking lot, securely fenced to keep out the mischievous monkeys.
