The Phra Lat Temple (Sakya Thakamani) is located at the foot of Doi Suthep, in Suthep Subdistrict, on the way up to Doi Suthep Pagoda. It covers an area of 237 rai. The temple is peaceful and beautiful, with a lush and serene atmosphere during the rainy season. The Burmese-style architecture is evident in the temple's design. From the temple's parking lot, one can see the simple and elegant monks' quarters.

Meditation Ground

The Burmese-style pagoda, located behind the main chapel, was built during the reign of King Kuen Na. The bell-shaped pagoda is adorned with stucco giant motifs. During the rainy season in August, it is particularly beautiful. This temple was also used as a filming location for the epic drama "Ruk Nakorn." It served as the opening scene for Chao Sukwong's return to his hometown.

The viharn, located in the center of the temple, was built during the time of Kru Ba Srivichai, who constructed the path up Doi Suthep. It is a brick and stucco structure in the Lanna architectural style with Burmese influences, built by Burmese craftsmen. The gable is adorned with carved wood in the shape of a peacock, decorated with blue and green stained glass. Inside, a Buddha statue in the Mara-Vijaya posture of the Lawa people is enshrined.
