"Traveling to the island during the rainy season offers a different kind of atmosphere."
- Hello everyone, this trip is a review of Koh Samet. Without further ado, let's begin our review.
- Transportation options include vans and buses. Disembark at the "Nuanthip" pier.
- I drove my own car. I left Bangkok around 6:00 AM and drove at a leisurely pace, stopping at gas stations along the way. Once I entered Chonburi province, I made a stop at the "Grand Canyon" of Chonburi.
- Having enjoyed our meal, we headed to the "Nuanthip" pier to board a boat to Koh Samet.
- The boat fare has two prices: slow boat and fast boat. The slow boat round trip is 100 baht per person, and the fast boat round trip is 350 baht per person.
- We arrived in the late afternoon. As there were many of us on this trip, we hired a songthaew. From three in the afternoon to six in the evening, it cost 1,500 baht. Motorbikes are also available for rent, and they are more expensive on weekends than on weekdays.
- The two-lane highway is complete, so let's get started.
- The first bay is "Ao Phrao".
- The second bay, "Ao Chor".
- The next stop is the "End of the Island Viewpoint".
- After enjoying the view, the next stop is "Ao Wai".
- After that, I returned to my accommodation and quickly took a shower to go and have dinner at the "Ploy Talay" restaurant on Sai Kaew Beach. There is a fire-spinning show here. I arrived around 8:30 pm and while waiting for food, I took some photos of the sunset. (The Ploy Talay restaurant is very crowded, so it's best to book in advance. I took a chance and was lucky enough to get a table.)
- The food arrived, and we ate until it was almost time for the fire show. People appeared from everywhere, and it became very crowded. If you want a good view, you need to secure a spot early. The show takes place in two locations: in front of the stage and on the beach.

- After that, I went back to rest to wake up early in the morning to watch the sunrise.
- The next morning, unfortunately, it was raining since early morning.
- After taking a shower in the morning, I immediately traveled back to Bangkok to avoid traffic jams and arriving home late. Finally, I would like to thank everyone who visited this review. I wish you all a happy and enjoyable trip. Thank you very much.
