Lopburi... Land of Monkeys (Budget under 300 Baht)
Today's day trip takes us to Lopburi Province.
Why did you go to Lopburi?
Our journey began with a desire to embark on a train adventure.
We kept searching on Google.
Which provinces can be reached by train?
And then I met you in Lopburi Province.
We checked the train schedule, but the ride was too short.
Let's go!
When we went, we were really only thinking about the monkeys.
I want to feed the monkeys, play with them, and take beautiful pictures with them.
However, when you actually go there, you will encounter old towns.
The ancient sites are truly magnificent and breathtakingly beautiful.

Especially foreigners because they will go to Ayutthaya.
But we won't! We're going to Lopburi!
>We walked back to the train station in Lopburi.
We boarded the train and promptly fell asleep.
Exhausted from playing with monkeys all day. 55

This phrase refers to the Phra Prang Sam Yot, a historic temple located in Lopburi, Thailand.
The name translates directly to "Three-Peaked Prang," referencing the temple's distinctive architecture. The central prang, or tower, is flanked by two smaller prangs, creating a unique and visually striking silhouette.

…………………………………………………
We started from Don Mueang Station. We boarded the train at 10:31 AM.
This train ride is free!
There are quite a few people here.
As we approached Lopburi, we took a stroll and snapped some photos on the train. The walkway here can be quite thrilling when the train is moving at high speed. 55
Upon exiting the station, you will encounter pedicabs available for your transportation needs.
Upon exiting the opposite side, we will immediately encounter Wat Phra Si Mahathat.
The atmosphere inside is shady and very refreshing.
After leaving Wat Phra Si Mahathat, we continued walking and came across The Mellow restaurant.
The restaurant was very cute and inviting, but it was crowded when we visited, so we couldn't get a table. However, from what we saw, the prices seemed reasonable.
It's noon now, and I'm starting to feel hungry.
We then passed by a som tam restaurant.
The crowd was massive. We exchanged glances in surprise.
We asked, "Do you want to eat?" They replied, "Yes!" Then we all went to eat together.
Note: We didn't take a picture of the storefront because we were too hungry.
I only took pictures of the food, haha. This is a spicy cockle salad, and it's delicious!
This restaurant is considered to be very affordable.
Two people can eat until they are full for this price.
Only 235 baht in total. Very cheap.
The papaya salad is 25 baht per plate.
It's hard to find a plate for 25 baht these days.
After we finished eating.
We have arrived at the King Narai National Museum.
We continue walking straight ahead and we will find this place.
Not far from the papaya salad shop.
We need to purchase tickets before entering.
30 baht each
The entrance is very shady.
We then ascended to the Phra Thinang Phiman Mongkut.
After leaving the National Museum, we headed straight to the Phra Prang Sam Yot.
Let's go see the monkeys!
Obstacles ahead have been identified.
We are unsure of the nature of the monkeys here.
And then, it stole the bag of ice from our friend's hand! Does it even eat ice?
After stealing it, it fought another creature for it.
The ice in the bag has completely melted.
And then they came down to lick the ice.
Must be very hot, or thirsty?
Entrance fee to the Phra Prang Sam Yot: 10 baht per person.
Very cheap, lots of monkeys inside.
Upon entering, a staff member introduced us to the monkeys. They assured us that the monkeys were safe to interact with and would not bite.
The child said to hold out your hand to the monkey, and the monkey would come and grab it. But for some reason, we held out our hand and the monkey didn't pay attention.
However, it walked around behind us to steal our water bottle!!!!! 55555
No need to fight over it like that. You can have it. There's no water anyway. What are you going to do with it?
The monkey keeper told me that the monkeys here are divided into three groups.
The entrance to the Phra Prang Sam Yot, within the Phra Prang Sam Yot itself, and the side facing the cinema.
Each group of monkeys is confined to its own territory and cannot cross into the territory of another group. When tourists arrive, they are only allowed to interact with the monkeys that are within their designated area.
The three-spired prang and its facade have obstructed the monkeys on the cinema side, resulting in them receiving less food.
Observing the monkeys at Ling, we noticed that the ones near the cinema had very little fur, which was quite pitiful. So, my friend and I bought some food to feed the monkeys near the cinema.
The monkeys from the cinema have arrived. Some of them have no fur, which is very pitiful.
(Continued)
There was street art with monkeys, but I forgot to take a picture.
Lost in the fun of playing with monkeys. 55
I tried to grab it with my hand, but I didn't get to eat much because it was all snatched away.
This is the interior of the three-peaked prang. Monkeys are not allowed inside.
They say that if monkeys get in, it takes a long time to get them out.
Some monkeys even jumped into the water to play.
It's time to go now. I really want to come back again.
The fun is over now.
On the return train journey, upon arriving at Phasi Station.
Ice cream vendors will be selling their products next to the train.
If someone reaches out to grab it, it will run away.
There is a small, sweet, and delicious fruit.
Only 5 baht per cup.
