The relative development of Pattaya and Hua Hin is debatable, but both cities are undoubtedly thriving and rivaling Bangkok in terms of prosperity. While Pattaya's proximity to Bangkok offers a logistical advantage, Hua Hin exudes a more distinct character. Pattaya's atmosphere increasingly resembles Phuket, particularly around Khao Phra Tamnak, the city's most expensive landmark. Khao Phra Tamnak has evolved from a scenic viewpoint to a bustling hub of hotels, condominiums, and restaurants, attracting a significant foreign population. The narrow two-lane roads, barely wide enough for two cars to pass, are often crowded with pedestrians, primarily foreigners. The Chocolate Factory, among other restaurants, offers stunning views and contributes to the vibrant atmosphere of Khao Phra Tamnak.

Today, our goal is not to eat chocolate, but to have a delicious lunch. We each ordered a different dish, and everything was delicious and satisfying. However, I cannot comment on the lamb chop steak as I do not eat lamb. My father, however, said it was delicious and quite large. My personal favorite was the shrimp spaghetti. The salmon pizza had an interesting flavor, but it was still tasty. The restaurant is very busy during lunch and dinner, so it's best to arrive before 11 am or after 2 pm to find parking. Parking is free with a minimum purchase of 500 baht, which shouldn't be a problem for two people. My only complaint is that the parking lot is made of crushed stone instead of concrete, which could potentially increase the available parking space. Looking at the pictures now makes me hungry!

The meal concluded with a selection of chocolates, including fresh chocolate that could be enjoyed at the restaurant or taken home. However, I was unable to sample them on this occasion as we were already full. I did, however, have a chocolate drink, which I must say was excellent. The chocolate frappe was particularly outstanding.
