Thais travel in Thailand. If Thais don't travel in Thailand, then who will travel in Thailand?
Traveling to Koh Lawa is not difficult. From Phuket, cross the Sarasin Bridge and turn into the alley next to Baan Tanun School. Drive for about 25 km until you reach the intersection at Baan Klong Khian School. There is a pier at Klong Khian Pier. If you travel by boat from this pier, it takes about 20-30 minutes by long-tail boat. However, we did not board at this pier. From Baan Klong Khian School, we turned right and drove for about 5 km, up and down hills, until we reached the beach area called Baan Klong Hin. We contacted a long-tail boat here. The boat ride from here takes only 10 minutes, and the island is just a short distance away. You can contact the boat rental company for a private charter using the number in the picture.
The low tide during our visit allowed us to clearly see the seagrass. We brought all of our food and supplies from the mainland for this trip.
The portions are quite large, as we were a big group.
With all our belongings loaded onto the boat, we set off for La Wa Island. As mentioned, the journey only takes 10 minutes from here.
Let's go to Ko La Wa.
Upon arrival, set up your tent on La Wa Island. There are also rooms available for rent for those who prefer not to sleep in tents, located on the upper level of the island.
Upon arriving at the island, a barbecue is a must.
The sun is setting in the evening.
