This trip is a 3-day, 2-night trip looking for a relaxing getaway. Who would have thought that Pattaya could also be a place to chill?

The journey began in the morning from Bangkok, at the Ekkamai Bus Terminal. The chosen mode of transportation was a bus.

The bus fare from Bangkok to Pattaya with Roong Rueang Coach is 108 baht. The journey takes approximately 2-3 hours.

The train departs every 30-40 minutes.
The first train departs at 5:00 AM.
The last train departs at 11:00 PM.

We departed from Bangkok (Ekkamai) at 9:40 AM and arrived in Pattaya at 12:00 PM.

Transportation in Pattaya

There are several transportation options available in Pattaya:

  • Motorcycle taxis (WINS): These are readily available and offer a convenient way to get around.
  • Shared taxis (Songthaews): These are open-air trucks with benches that follow fixed routes. They are a cheap and efficient way to travel short distances.
  • Taxis: Taxis in Pattaya operate on a fixed-price basis. It's recommended to agree on the fare before starting your journey.
  • Grab Car: This ride-hailing service offers a convenient and often affordable way to get around, especially when promotions are available.

Finally arrived at our accommodation, which we booked for 2 nights. We stayed at View Talay 7 Condominium PATTAYA.

It's a condo located on Jomtien Beach, right next to Dongtan Beach. Walking down from the condo, you're immediately greeted by the sea. The seawater there is incredibly clear, perfect for swimming.

The LOCATION is as follows:

The room rate per night is 1,500 baht without breakfast. However, there are many restaurants nearby.

The room is very beautiful.

The room is located on the 18th floor.

The view from the room is stunning.

The room offers stunning sunset views.

Let's take a look at the beaches and activities in the area. The closest beach to the condo is Dongtan Beach.

Beautiful beach, clear water, suitable for swimming.

This area is relatively quiet, making it ideal for a truly relaxing getaway.

However, if you're looking for more excitement, Jomtien Beach is just a short walk away.

During my visit, the beach was remarkably clean. This was due to the commendable efforts of a group of individuals, both Thai and foreign, who had come together to collect garbage. Their dedication to environmental cleanliness is truly admirable.

This trip ended with a relaxing vibe, watching the sunset at Dong Tal Beach and from the balcony of our room. We ate, slept, strolled along the beach, and swam in the sea.

Summary of Expenses (Transportation and Accommodation Only)

  • Round-trip transportation from Bangkok to Pattaya: 216 Baht per person
  • Accommodation for 2 nights: 3,000 Baht per person, divided equally for a total of 1,500 Baht per person
