Greetings from Lamphang!
I'm back with another travel review, this time from the beautiful province of Lamphang in Thailand. Join me as I explore the sights and sounds of this charming destination.
Our Journey Begins
…
This trip will take place from October 20th to 23rd, 2017.
I traveled by train, number 51, from Bangkok to Chiang Mai. It departed at 22:00 and arrived at Lampang station at 09:51.
The return journey is also by train, train number 8 from Chiang Mai to Bangkok. It arrives in Lampang at 10:41 and arrives at Bangkok station at 19:25.
Let's take a look at the atmosphere of traveling by train.
Arrived in Lampang.
I am a journalist translator, and I am here to assist you with your translation needs.
Here is the translation of the sentence you provided:
I stayed at the R Lampang Guesthouse, which is conveniently located near the "Kad Kong Ta" walking street.
Upon arrival at the accommodation, I stored my belongings and took a shower. I then rented a bicycle from the property and explored the surrounding area. Here are some photos of my experience.
I arranged with the driver to take me to "Phra That Lampang Luang" at 2 pm. I only had time to visit one temple, so I came back to prepare. I'm ready, let's go! ^^
After visiting the Phra That Lampang Luang temple, I returned to my accommodation. Then, I borrowed a bicycle and visited Wat Si Rong Mueang and Wat Chiang Rai.
As the sun set, darkness enveloped the area, prompting me to return to my accommodation for a well-deserved rest. The following day, I had an early morning appointment with a local driver who would take me to "Wat Phra Bat Phutthawat", a hidden gem in Thailand, and "Wat Phra That Doi Phra Chan".
Day 2
I woke up at 3:50 AM. You might ask why I woke up so early. It's because the morning atmosphere is filled with thick fog, and I was afraid that if I arrived later, I wouldn't be able to see the sea of fog.
A glimpse of the scenery along the way.
Upon arrival at the ticket booth at 6:30 AM, you will need to wait until 7:00 AM for ticket sales to begin. Tickets are priced at 100 Baht per person. Both shared taxis and private cars are available for transportation. Once the shared taxi arrives at the drop-off point, a further 30-minute walk is required to reach the destination. The walking time may vary depending on individual fitness levels and photo stops.
We have reached the summit. Please enjoy the view.
I stayed there until 11 am and then came back down. I remember passing "Wat Chedi Sao" on the way back, so I asked the driver to stop there.
According to local legend, those who can count 20 stupas at Wat Chedi Sao within one circuit are said to possess good fortune.
Let's continue our journey to "Wat Phra That Doi Phra Chan", located in Mae Ta district.
After watching the show, I returned to my accommodation, took a shower, and then went to the "Kad Kong Ta" walking street.
Rattanakosin Bridge at dusk
I enjoyed walking around so much that I returned to my accommodation. I will wake up early again tomorrow. My mission is to offer food to monks in the morning, cycle to watch the sunrise, and visit the "Phra Chao Than Jai" temple.
Day 3
After completing the morning alms offering at 5:30 AM, I embarked on a bike ride to find a spot to capture the sunrise. The route took me through the village in front of Phra Chao Than Jai Temple. The morning atmosphere was incredibly refreshing. Enjoy the view!
After that, I cycled to Wat Phra Chao Tan Jai.
Due to time constraints, I was unable to explore the area in detail. I quickly cycled back to my accommodation, ate, showered, and prepared for my departure.
Lampang is a city that retains the charm of its old-world character, evident in its traditional buildings and architecture. The locals are exceptionally friendly, and the tranquil atmosphere makes it an ideal destination for relaxation.
Thank you to everyone who visited. We hope you had a wonderful time and enjoyed your experience.
