Greetings! Today, I'm taking you on a relaxing trip to Koh Samet, a nearby island paradise. We'll be staying at a charming beachfront treehouse, where you can unwind to the soothing sounds of the waves. Indulge in a delightful barbecue of fresh seafood, savoring the tranquil ambiance of Ao Lung Dam. Afterwards, we'll embark on a scenic motorbike ride to explore the breathtaking views of Koh Samet's southern tip.
Journey to Koh Samet: Seafood Feast and Island Hopping
Our journey begins in Bangkok, where we set off towards Rayong province. Our first stop is the lively Ban Phe fresh market, where we indulge in a delectable seafood feast. From succulent shrimp to fresh oysters, we gather our bounty for around 1,500 baht.
With our provisions secured, it's time to embark on our island adventure. We head to the Sri Ban Phe Pier (https://goo.gl/maps/X8UJjvVtXjB2), conveniently located just 1-2 kilometers from the market. For those arriving by car, parking is available at the pier for a nominal fee of 100 baht per night.
The ferry ride to Koh Samet is a scenic journey, offering breathtaking views of the azure waters and lush island landscapes. The roundtrip fare is 100 baht per person, making it an affordable and accessible escape.
