Enter the 5th day.
We went to Macau today.
Let's go buy tickets to board the ship at China Hong Kong City.
We boarded the TURBOJET ferry.
The price for the outbound trip is 177 coins.
The return trip costs 153 coins.
Total 330 coins
The large boat is comfortable to ride on, and it is very stable.
The ship offers water for sale, and even WIFI is available for purchase, although the prices are quite high.
We have arrived in Macau. It's freezing here! We had to buy long-sleeved shirts to stay warm.
We checked into our accommodation to leave our belongings before heading out to explore.
We stayed at the Towns Well Hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the rooms were clean and had large beds.
We chose this place because it looked good and was cheap. After we entered the hotel, …
I : check in
staff : ok , Passport
I handed over my passport and waited.
Staff: Is there a double bed available?
You: Yes, but can I change to a twin bed?
Staff: (hesitant) Yes, okay.
Me: Okay, thank you.
Staff deposited $300.
Me: ... (Confused) I don't know what that means, but I have some money, so I'll answer quickly.
Me: NO!!!!! (The staff immediately looked up at me after I said that.)
What is 300? Why do we have to pay? Is it a service charge? 300 dollars is very expensive.
Very confusing. I turned to ask my friend, but they didn't know either. The staff tried to explain.
Unsure of the meaning, I quickly asked a friend to search for the word on Google. The search yielded the conclusion that "deposit" means "security deposit."
Upon understanding its meaning, I promptly paid the deposit and rushed upstairs to collect my belongings.
After packing our belongings, we went out for a walk to find something to eat.
This is the entrance to our accommodation. It's very crowded.
The taro ice cream has a slight burnt smell.
It wasn't that great, not really my taste, but since I was already there, I thought I might as well give it a try.
Our first stop in Macau will be the Ruins of St. Paul's, a landmark of the city.
St. Dominic's Church
Dazzling yellow, absolutely stunning.
Renowned pork jerky, a must-buy for every visitor.
We tried every restaurant, and the one that was the most delicious was the winner.
The dish was incredibly delicious when I tried it there, but after bringing it back to Thailand, it lost its flavor. It's also expensive.
We have arrived at the Ruins of St. Paul's.
We have achieved our dreams.
I've always dreamed of coming here. Yay!
The place was packed with people, and there were friends in every frame.
To the right of the Ruins of St. Paul's, facing the entrance, is the Snoopy shop.
The interior offers a selection of snacks and a stamping station for visitors to enjoy. Complimentary postcards are available upon request from the staff.
I did not go up the Macau Tower.
We dream of coming back and bungee jumping from the tower next time.
This time, we didn't jump because it was easy. We didn't have any money. Haha! Because it was very expensive.
If I remember correctly, the price was between ten thousand and twenty thousand baht.
After we were tired from walking and shopping, we decided to grab a bite to eat.
There is a nearby shop that I found after walking around the area. It is located in an alley next to my accommodation.
A completely random order of dishes.
This is our friend's.
But we think it must have noodles.
However, it was not available. It was very disappointing to only have dumplings in soup.
Therefore, I had to invest in ordering a new one.
This is what we ordered based on the table next to us.
The owner informed me that this dish is not on the menu.
We'll take one of these, please.
This is our line. It's so long, it's unbelievable. It's enough to make your stomach burst.
After finishing our meal, we returned to our accommodation to rest up for our next day's adventures.
So fast, it's already the 6th day.
Before we return to Hong Kong today,
We are going to visit The Venetian Macao.
Those who visit Macau and do not come here have missed out.
We have arrived at The Venetian Macau, which is truly magnificent and impressive.
And then we walked inside, straight to the entrance, the front door.
Is this where Geum Jan-di came to find Jun-pyo?
Exhilarating! It's even better than in the series. Seeing it in real life is like a dream come true.
It is incredibly beautiful, gleaming gold. It is truly amazing, I am not disappointed at all.
After passing through this zone, we decided to stop by the casino for a bit. 55
Entry requires a valid passport. Minors are not permitted.
This cabinet cost us hundreds of baht.
It is recommended to stop playing immediately after winning. Do not continue playing, or you will lose everything like me.
Initially, it was profitable, but later it became a complete loss.
Curved escalator! Wow, I've never seen one before in my life!
This is the Grand Canal Street zone, which is stunning and designed in a Venetian style.
There are many shops for shopping, but also a food court area.
Gondola ride costs approximately 500 baht per person.
Grab a bite to eat here before heading back.
The cost of living here is high, and the food is also expensive.
Every single thing was truly unpalatable.
After finishing our meal, it was time to board the boat for our return trip.
Macau is truly a fun place to visit.
After our return from Macau.
We came to Disneyland to shop at the store.
However, when we arrived, there were no shops for us to buy anything.
The ticket price is too expensive, we won't go. It's already late, not worth it.
So I went back, feeling super bummed. Might as well head back to the accommodation.
Tonight, we will return to our previous accommodation at City Guest House.
The last night was a bit bittersweet. Time flies!
It's already the 7th day, time flies. We have to go back tonight.
The BONJOUR shop sells a wide variety of cosmetics.
And there are many shops everywhere, competing with each other, with shops next to each other.
Do you see that sign?
Sasa is another store that sells a wide variety of cosmetics.
The place is packed with people. If Mong Kok is included, buying from each store is like giving things away for free. What on earth are they buying so much for?
After a day of shopping for souvenirs and exploring the area, we…
We went out to find something to eat. Since we were in Hong Kong, we had to try some congee. We had seen many positive reviews.
Let me try it myself for a bit.
This restaurant has a Thai menu, but the food is not authentic.
The order did not match the description.
We ordered a special recipe marinated pork congee.
Specially marinated pork
Vegetarian rice noodle rolls?
Yes, it is correct, but not true, right?
We understand that the Thai language written as "ก๋วยเตี๋ยวหลอดเจ" refers to a type of vegetarian noodle dish.
This must have vegetables inside, there's nothing here but flour.
This is clearly just a tube of rice noodles.
It's like eating nothing but flour. 55
L'attitude is a charming shop.
However, there was only one other table occupied in the restaurant, also by Thai people.
Following the reviews, it's hilarious.
Our friends wanted to try this place based on the reviews, so we decided to give it a go.
The cuteness of a bear is simply irresistible.
Below is an ice cream that is delicious and not too sweet, just right.
It's time to go home now.
Seven days passed so quickly! It feels like I just arrived, and I haven't even seen everything yet.
See you again.
On the way back, we took the Airport Express because we had stopped by the outlet beforehand.
Unsure of how to catch the airport bus and with time running out, I rushed to check-in.
The Airport Express was surprisingly fast, with very few passengers. I couldn't help but wonder if it was worth the cost.
