Relaxing by the Rice Fields at… Tub Na Homestay
Many people may know "Pua Town" from pictures of accommodations or tourist attractions surrounded by beautiful green rice fields, making many tourists want to visit. If you ask what to do in Pua, the answer is that there are many attractions, such as various temples or natural attractions on high mountains. Moreover, the local people are of various ethnicities, such as Tai Lue and various hill tribe groups. Therefore, the local culture has been blended with tourist attractions, creating a unique identity that will surely impress visitors.
For our accommodation on this trip to Pua, we chose Tub Na Homestay, a homestay by the rice fields with a beautiful mountain view stretching out in front of the property.
Tub Na Homestay is located a short distance from Pua town. The accommodation has two sections: Tub Na and Tub Nan, but they are owned by the same person. During our visit, it coincided with the period when the rice was nearing harvest, a short period that allowed us to enjoy the beautiful view of the golden rice fields with their bright yellow ears. Especially in the morning when the sunlight shines on the rice fields, I must say it was absolutely amazing.

Let's take a look at the accommodation. The room we booked is part of Tu Bon Nan, owned by the same people. We booked a wooden cabin, of which there are a total of 4. The interior is beautifully decorated. The room has air conditioning and a private bathroom. But what I love is that when you open the curtains, you can see a beautiful view of the rice fields from the room.
Price:
- Tub Nan Homestay (Room at the end of the rice field): 1,600 Baht/room with breakfast included.
- Kantoke dinner: 400 Baht for 2 people.
If you're visiting Pua and couldn't secure accommodation at this location, you can still enjoy a cup of coffee at Tub Na Coffee. Afterwards, take a leisurely stroll and capture stunning photos on the bamboo bridge and in the pavilion overlooking the picturesque rice fields.
