Koh Kood is an island in Trat province, located in the Gulf of Thailand. It is the second largest island after Koh Chang. Koh Kood boasts white sandy beaches and emerald-green waters, making it an ideal destination for nature lovers and those seeking relaxation. The island remains largely untouched, preserving its natural beauty.

Trat --> Laem Sok Pier
Free shuttle service provided by Koh Kood Princess Ferry Company
The Koh Kood Princess Ferry Company has informed us that upon arrival at Trat Transportation Center, please proceed to parking bay 25 and wait for the shuttle bus. The shuttle bus will arrive between 10:45 AM and 11:30 AM. If you do not see the bus, please call 082-878-990.

Laem Sok Pier --> Koh Kood
There are three ferry companies offering transportation to Koh Kood. Passengers can board at Laem Sok Pier, located approximately 29 kilometers from Trat city.

Itinerary
Bangkok --> Trat | Depart at 5:00 AM, arrive at Trat Bus Terminal at 10:20 AM (Cherchai Tour)
Trat --> Laem Sok Pier | Free shuttle service provided by Koh Kood Princess Ferry. Pick-up time is approximately 11:00 AM.
Laem Sok Pier --> Koh Kood | Depart at 12:30 PM with Koh Kood Princess Ferry.
Koh Kood --> Resort | Free shuttle service provided by Koh Kood Princess Ferry.
Return Trip
Resort --> Koh Kood | 8:50 AM: A van from Koh Kood Princess will pick you up at the resort and take you to the pier.
Koh Kood --> Laem Sok Pier | 10:00 AM: Depart on the Koh Kood Princess ferry.
Laem Sok Pier --> Trat | 12:45 PM: Take the free shuttle bus provided by Koh Kood Princess to Trat Bus Terminal.
Trat --> Bangkok | 2:00 PM: Board the Cherngchai Tour bus to Bangkok, arriving around 8:00 PM.

We have finally arrived at Trat Bus Terminal.
Take a shared taxi to the pier. Most of the passengers are foreign tourists traveling to Koh Kood.

We chose to stay at SIAM BEACH RESORT, located on Bang Bao Bay.
Check in to your room first.
The accommodation is a house with air conditioning. It was booked through AGODA for 2,298 baht per night. The resort's own website lists the price at 3,000 baht per night.
The bed is large, but the mattress is a bit firm. The cleanliness is acceptable.
This resort offers breakfast included in the room rate. It is highly recommended to book a room with breakfast, as the resort is located far from any restaurants or shops. Therefore, all meals will be taken at the resort.
The breakfast selection was limited but adequate.
Ten pristine white sand beaches with crystal-clear, calm waters and gentle slopes, perfect for swimming and enjoying the beauty of the ocean.
Exquisitely delightful.
This is pure paradise on earth.
The nature here is still very pristine.
For me, the beauty of the sea lies in its white sandy beaches, crystal-clear waters, and swaying coconut palms. This is what I consider a true Paradise Island.
Koh Kood is not only known for its stunning beaches, but also for its breathtaking sunsets, making it one of the most picturesque destinations in Thailand to witness the sun dipping below the horizon.
However, no amount of words can truly convey the experience until one embarks on the journey themselves.
