During the recent holiday, I visited the Tung Bua Tong field at Mae Moh in Lampang Province. The field is in full bloom, welcoming the cool winter breeze. The photos were taken on November 12, 2017. Covering an area of over 500 rai, Mae Moh Mine offers several beautiful tourist attractions. Let's go and see them together.

This road is lined with beautiful blooming flowers.

Drive into the mine and enjoy the scenery of the golf course. The view here is beautiful, and there are bigfoot cars for selfies.

A Breathtaking View of the Golden Fields: Visiting Tung Bua Tong

The Tung Bua Tong viewpoint offers a stunning panorama of the surrounding landscape. This artificial mountain, formed from excavated earth from the nearby mine, provides a unique vantage point. Atop the hill lies the 84th Anniversary Garden, a serene space dedicated to the King's reign. From here, visitors can marvel at the breathtaking scenery, including the iconic Tung Bua Tong fields. These fields burst into vibrant yellow blooms between November and mid-December, creating a mesmerizing spectacle.

Arrived.

Beautiful view.

The sky is very clear.

After admiring the Tung Bua Tong fields, you can visit the Mae Khachan Dam, which is not far away.

The Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT) Mae Moh Power Plant has diverted water from the Kiew Lom Dam to the Mae Kham Reservoir to provide water for consumption, fisheries, and agriculture in Mae Moh District. This also helps maintain the downstream ecosystem of the Jang River basin and enhances the stability of the power generation system. If you visit early in the morning, you will see a beautiful sea of fog.
