Noen Nangphaya Viewpoint

Renowned as the **most scenic viewpoint in the east**, it is located on **Chaloem Burapha Chonlathit Road**, the most beautiful beachfront road in Chanthaburi province. The Tourism Authority of Thailand recommends visiting it and has selected it as a **Dream Destination**.

Nang Phaya Hill is situated between Khung Wiman Beach and Ao Khung Kraben, offering stunning cliffside views of the sea and the winding coastal road. This vantage point also provides breathtaking sunset vistas.

This place is a must-visit for all tourists who come to Chanthaburi. It is especially crowded on weekends.

While this spot is beautiful during the day, it would be even more stunning with a clear sky. Unfortunately, the day we visited was a bit cloudy.

The Scenic Coastal Road of Thailand: A Journey Along the Eastern Seaboard

The Chalermprakiet Road, also known as Chalermprakiet Borommaratchachonnani Road, is a picturesque two-lane highway stretching 111 kilometers along the eastern coast of Thailand. It winds its way from Laem Mae Phim in Rayong province, through Chanthaburi province, and finally reaching Trat province. This coastal road offers breathtaking views as it hugs the contours of mountains and the shimmering coastline.

Beyond the scenic drive, the Chalermprakiet Road presents an ideal opportunity for cycling enthusiasts. A dedicated bicycle lane, clearly marked with red paint on the shoulder, runs alongside the road, providing a safe and enjoyable experience for cyclists to soak in the stunning surroundings.

The Nang Phaya Viewpoint offers parking for visitors. There are shops and restaurants across from the viewpoint, making it a convenient location.

This is a double curve area that we can see from Nang Phaya Hill. It is a dam filled with large rocks to protect the coast. There are places for people to sit and relax, with pavilions and small chairs to sit on.

Some people come to fish on this rocky outcrop.

Another day ends with the sun setting on the horizon.

Tomorrow we will find a new place to visit. There are still many tourist attractions in Chanthaburi province.
