Point 1: Thai Elephant Conservation Center, Mae Rim

How many retired and elderly elephants know where they will end up? What happens to the lives of these elephants? Here, we can learn about elephants and participate in programs to care for them, such as feeding or bathing. We can spend the whole day enjoying ourselves and having fun. This is a stopover on the way to our accommodation. Let's stop by and bring joy to the elephants.

The atmosphere is fantastic, allowing us to breathe in the fresh air deeply.

Admission fee of 250 baht is very reasonable for the opportunity to feed elephants and get up close and personal with our Thai elephants.

Maesa Elephant Camp: A Sanctuary for Aging Elephants

The Maesa Elephant Camp, the first in Thailand to receive the Department of Livestock Development's elephant camp standard certification, serves as a sanctuary for aging elephants. This ensures that these magnificent creatures enjoy their twilight years in a safe and comfortable environment, free from isolation.

He brought a bunch of large bananas to feed the elephants up close.

Visitors can feed the elephants up close, but must remain under the close supervision of a mahout.

Look at the tusks, they are very big and beautiful.

2. Pongyang Zipline & Jungle Coaster

Following our relaxing elephant feeding experience, we embarked on an exciting adventure at Pongyang Zipline & Jungle Coaster, a nature-themed adventure park in Mae Rim. This park offers a variety of thrilling activities, including the Jungle Coaster, a wooden rail coaster, and the exhilarating Zip Line, among others.

The pristine nature of the mountains, which is impossible to find in the city.

The atmosphere at night is peaceful.

The cool weather is very comfortable. I like it very much.

In this cool weather, a full-fledged barbecue is a must.

Eating on this mountain is incredibly enjoyable, it's indescribable.

In the morning, the weather is excellent. The wind blows constantly, and it is cool. If you want to have a sweet time, come here! It's great!

Breakfast with hot rice porridge and a cool breeze.

After returning from Mon Nuea, we also stopped by the Queen Sirikit Botanic Garden in Mae Rim. It is a place that conserves and collects plant species categorized by their families and genera. This is the Canopy walkway, an elevated walkway that offers stunning views of nature.

A path stretching over 400 meters offers numerous photo opportunities, showcasing the lush vegetation and rich biodiversity of the forest.

The Botanical Garden has designed nature trails for visitors to explore the diverse plant life. Among these trails, there is a particularly popular spot that attracts many visitors.

Abundant with diverse flora

The greenhouse separates each type of plant.

The text describes a greenhouse divided into sections, each dedicated to different types of plants.

Cactus

Lush greenery and a delightful atmosphere abound in this greenhouse.

Awaken the diverse flowers for all to admire and behold.

Upon arriving in Chiang Mai, I stayed at the Prestige CM, a beautifully decorated hotel with comfortable rooms and affordable prices. It is located on the way to Doi Suthep and is highly recommended.

We happened to be in the city during the Loy Krathong festival, so we took a stroll around Tha Pae Gate, where there was a Loy Krathong event.

Tha Pae Gate is crowded with tourists.

The space is adorned with a variety of beautiful lamps.

Explore the beautiful northern-style decorations.

We are currently heading towards the Three Kings Monument, walking leisurely. I overheard that there is a contest for the Goddess - God of Yi Peng Chiang Mai.

While walking, I stopped to grab a delicious crepe to satisfy my hunger.

Strolling upon a Khao Soi restaurant, the taste was decent. Visiting the North, this is the only Northern Thai dish I've had the chance to try. Haha.

Along the way, there were decorations in the style of Chiang Mai, the beautiful sister city of Pi, which were very beautiful.

I enjoy the unique northern tradition of decorating with floating lanterns.

Beautiful, isn't it? I love it so much. That's why I say that once you go, you have to go again. Again and again. Haha.

Wat Inthakhin Sadue Mueang, an ancient temple in Chiang Mai, has been decorated with small, beautiful hanging clay lamps.

Floating lanterns with names written on them, releasing sorrow and grief.

Enjoying

Crowded, but the weather is nice and cool.

Taking a red car to the Saphan Kaew Nawarat area by the Ping River so as not to miss the opportunity to float a kratong together. 555 There are 7 of us, but we only float one kratong. True sufficiency. 555

Lanterns are released at various points along the Ping River.

After the Loy Krathong festival, another unmissable spot is the **Phra That Doi Suthep Temple**, which is now located within the city. I always stop by to pay my respects whenever I'm in town.

Children from the mountains are waiting to greet you before you reach the pagoda.

Towering high, but we are not afraid!

We have arrived at the top of Doi Suthep Temple.

Thinking about the song "When the Flowers Bloom" from the drama. Oh, am I getting old?

The magnificent Doi Suthep Pagoda

A viewpoint offering panoramic views of the sprawling city of Chiang Mai.

The weather is not too hot either.

Next stop, Wat Umong, a hidden gem reminiscent of the ancient city of Wiang Kum Kam. Located behind the CMU Soi.

The main stupa, over 700 years old.

After visiting Wat Umong, we stopped by Baan Kang Wat, a local-style shopping area.

The exposed concrete wood-frame construction creates a unique and aesthetically pleasing design.

There are many photo spots and shopping opportunities.

The return flight was operated by Vietjet, a Vietnamese airline, departing at 5:45 PM on Saturday.

It's time to go home.

Farewell, Chiang Mai. See you again on the next trip. Chiang Mai, I'll be back again and again!
