With weary legs and an overloaded mind, I longed for a break, a chance to rest and rejuvenate. As fate would have it, an invitation to explore the three sister hotels of the Sukosol chain in Pattaya presented itself. A spontaneous trip with my significant other to the vibrant city of Pattaya was thus conceived.
In mid-October, I had the opportunity to stay at three Sukosol hotels in Pattaya: Wave Hotel, The Bayview, and Siam Bayshore. I spent one night at each hotel, as if I were on a honeymoon (who knows how many times!). It was a chance to add a little sweetness and happiness to my relationship.
For ease of reading, I have separated the sections for each hotel. If you would like to see the other two hotels in addition to The Bayview (www.thebayviewpattaya.com), please click here.

As dusk approached and the sun began its descent, I ordered two chilled cocktails to be delivered to my room. I reclined, savoring the refreshing drinks while gazing at the sky's transformation of colors. The view from my eighth-floor suite rendered Pattaya Bay remarkably picturesque. I must confess, I adore moments like these.
The Bayview Hotel, a veteran establishment on Pattaya Beach for over three decades, remains popular to this day. Situated in Central Pattaya near Central Festival, the hotel's main entrance with ample parking is located on Second Road. The rear entrance, accessible only by foot, is on Beach Road directly opposite Wave Hotel, a newer addition to the Sukosol chain.
The lobby at The Bayview offers a relaxed atmosphere with a touch of Thai elegance. The space is subtly adorned with antique and vintage pieces, creating a unique and inviting ambiance.

Passing through the lobby, you will find a swimming pool and a garden with chairs and tables for relaxation in various corners. The hotel is surrounded on all four sides, making it feel like a private box, cutting off the surrounding noise. Unlike a bustling Pattaya, this place is perfect for those who are tired of the hustle and bustle.
This resort also features a children's pool, which was completed in mid-2017, along with a kids' club located right next to it. Therefore, families visiting the resort can be assured that their children will have plenty of activities to keep them entertained.
The accommodation buildings consist of two structures, as shown in the image. The four-story orange building houses the dining room on the ground floor, while the ten-story white building features a lobby on the lower level.
The Bayview also has another swimming pool behind the coffee shop before entering the lobby, where there is also a spacious fitness center.
We stayed here for one night, checking in at 2 pm. It was a deluxe sea view room on the eighth floor. The room was decorated in yellow, brown, and white tones. It had a small balcony and a glass window with a sofa, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the view.
The bathroom features both a bathtub and a shower. The provided soap and shampoo are infused with aloe vera, rosemary, and mint, which I found to be both fragrant and refreshing. The other amenities are also satisfactory.
The highlight of The Bayview, in my opinion, is the stunning view from the rooms, especially for those staying on higher floors. So, as the sun began to set, I ordered a cocktail to fully immerse myself in the romantic ambiance of the sunset.

The Bayview offers two dining options. The first, as mentioned, is located on the ground floor of the four-story building and is called the Garden Terrace. The second, Exotica Bar and Lounge, is located next to the main building's elevator.
The ambiance at Exotica Bar is captivating and aesthetically pleasing. Despite its name, the interior boasts a highly antique aesthetic, further enhanced by live piano performances.
We dined here with Chef A-Nong from Wave Hotel providing on-site service. The meal included smoked salmon, chicken steak, beef steak, stir-fried noodles with fresh shrimp, and Black & White mousse for dessert. We enjoyed the meal with two light cocktails, which paired perfectly with the dessert.
This was the first time in my life that I had dinner with her while a piano played softly in the background. Words cannot describe the happiness I felt in that moment.
For breakfast, we dined at the Garden Terrace. While the buffet spread was not overwhelming, it offered a diverse and sufficient selection of dishes. The restaurant boasts an elegant ambiance, and guests can choose to sit either indoors or outdoors. Notably, the restaurant offers freshly blended fruit juices, allowing diners to indulge in their preferences.
Standing tall alongside Pattaya for a considerable period, The Bayview has accumulated a wealth of knowledge regarding the ingredients for a truly blissful vacation. While it may not be flawless, it possesses qualities that will undoubtedly bring a wide smile to your face upon arrival.
