We set off early in the morning. Coffee, our constant companion on every journey, was a must-have. We arrived in Hua Hin around 11:30 a.m., before check-in time. However, our stomachs were rumbling, and we were hungry. We decided to have lunch at a restaurant with a beautiful view, a pleasant atmosphere, and affordable food. We pinned our location as @Sea View Hua Hin.

Royal Water Spinach Salad

Spicy Pickled Crab Salad

After finishing our meal, we continued our journey to Neem Trees Cafe, located near the Dusit Thani Hua Hin Hotel. This establishment is divided into two zones: a restaurant and a cafe. The atmosphere is lush and there are many photo opportunities.

Iced tea, matcha green tea, carrot cake

We then headed to Hua Hin Railway Station to take some photos, since we were already in the area.

At 5:00 PM, we arrived at our accommodation. We frequently visit Hua Hin, but we were unaware that the city had so many hidden resorts. Vann Huahin Resort is one such resort that we would like to recommend. Located between Cha-am and Hua Hin, this resort is not very large and has a total of 11 rooms, all of which are pool access rooms. The rooms are well-designed, stylish, and comfortable, and the resort has won awards. But the best part is that you can jump into the pool just three big steps from your room. The resort also offers a full range of amenities.

Let's begin... I'll use photographs to introduce you to this place.

Before checking in, the staff served us a refreshing welcome drink of chilled bael fruit juice.

The resort's lobby boasts a modern design with warm tones and a high, airy ceiling.

The resort is not located directly on the beach, but it is only a short 400-meter drive away. Guests can also choose to cycle to the beach for exercise. The resort provides bicycles for guests to use after checking in.

Guests are given the option to pre-select their breakfast for the following day, choosing one dish per person from an à la carte menu featuring 11 options. For our trip, with two guests, we selected the Eggs Benedict and Pan Fried Egg.

Additional Amenities

Let's take a look at the resort's swimming pool. The saltwater pool is located centrally and stretches lengthwise, flanked by guest rooms. All room types at the resort offer pool access, allowing guests to step directly from their rooms and into the refreshing water. The pool is illuminated until 10 pm, but guests are welcome to swim after hours. Flamingo and duck-shaped inflatable rings are available for playful photo opportunities.

Guest Rooms

This resort offers four types of guest rooms. We will take a closer look at the room we stayed in during our trip, the Vann Pool Access room, which measures 40 square meters and is ideal for two guests. This room offers all the amenities of the Pool Suite but in a slightly smaller size. The bathroom and shower are separate in the Pool Access rooms.

The original text is in Thai and describes the author's experience waking up early to go for a run on Cha-am beach and watch the sunrise.

Here is the translation:

At 5:00 AM, we woke up to prepare for our morning run on Cha-am beach and to watch the sunrise. Today, the sun rose very late, almost 7:00 AM.

We then visited the morning market at @Cha-am Municipal Market. There was a wide variety of fresh seafood available, including shrimp, shellfish, crabs, and fish. The prices were very reasonable, especially considering the quality of the seafood. It was hard to resist buying some!

At 8:00 AM, we returned to our accommodation for breakfast, which we had chosen before checking in. Our selections included Eggs Benedict and Pan Fried Egg. The breakfast menu also offered toast with butter and jam, as well as fruit juices, tea, and coffee. We were very satisfied with the generous breakfast spread provided by the resort.

Look at the picture... It looks delicious, doesn't it?

After finishing our meal, we checked out and prepared to continue our journey. Our next destination was Ratchaburi. We arrived in Ratchaburi around 12:00 PM. We set our sights on @Tara Coffee, a restaurant, cafe, and bakery located on the banks of the Mae Klong River in Mueang District, Ratchaburi Province. The restaurant resembles a floating platform on the river, with a spacious open-air seating area. The highlight is the seating area that extends out over the river, allowing diners to enjoy delicious food and excellent coffee while taking in the relaxing atmosphere. The restaurant's menu may not be extensive, but on the Saturday afternoon we visited, it was not overly crowded. In addition to being a restaurant, it also offers spa services.

Thara Coffee, Caramel Macchiato, Cold Crepe with Ice Cream

After finishing our meal, we went to Khao Bin Cave. There are monkeys to feed here. The monkeys are not aggressive. Khao Bin Cave is located in Mueang District, Ratchaburi Province, within the national forest reserve. It is named after a legend that a Chinese merchant sailed a large junk ship through the area. The ship hit the side of the mountain, causing a chip. Khao Bin is therefore assumed to be a corruption of Khao Bin. Some also assume that it comes from the unique feature inside one of the cave's chambers, which has a dull white stalactite that protrudes like a bird's beak flapping its wings as if it were about to fly, hence the name Khao Bin. Khao Bin has a peak that is approximately 272 meters above sea level. The cave mouth is 5 meters above the ground. The area inside the cave is approximately 5 rai. Inside the cave, lights are installed to illuminate the beauty of the stalagmites and stalactites. It is located in Village No. 11, Hin Kong Subdistrict, Mueang District, Ratchaburi Province, on the Ratchaburi - Chom Bueng Road, approximately 20 kilometers from the city center. It is open from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM daily. There is a 20 baht entrance fee to enter the cave.

Eager to witness the cave's beauty, are we?
