This is the fourth consecutive year for the "One Person, One Motorcycle" event. For four years, a group of people have been traveling hundreds of thousands of kilometers on their old big bikes. This year, I am planning to retrace the route from last year, starting from Chumphon and passing through Phitsanulok, Uttaradit, Nan, Chiang Kham, Phu Chi Fa, Chiang Rai, Chiang Mai, Pai, Mae Hong Son, Mae Sot, and Kamphaeng Phet before returning to Chumphon. The trip will take 7 nights and 8 days. Are you ready to join me and my trusty motorcycle on this adventure? Go Go!
On the first day, we started our journey from Chumphon and rode almost 700 kilometers to Nakhon Sawan.

After a restful first night, we were ready to tackle the second day. We embarked on a long journey, passing through Nakhon Sawan, Phitsanulok, Uttaradit, Phrae, and finally arriving in Nan Province.
We arrived in Nan in the afternoon and checked into our accommodation. The owner of the accommodation was also a big bike rider, so we had a long chat. Nan is a great place to relax.
After packing our belongings, we embarked on our exploration of Nan city, starting with Wat Phumin.
Cross the street to the other side, Wat Chang Kham.
Another great place to visit is opposite the temple, where the evening light is particularly beautiful.

Continue for another 4 km to Wat Phra That Chae Haeng.
Upon returning to Nan city, the weather was pleasant. Looking for food, I came across a charming market and found my dinner.

Heading towards Chiang Kham District, before reaching Chiang Kham, there is a sign for Phu Langka. Let's go up and see what's there.
The ascent is quite steep, but the atmosphere is excellent. Let's continue to Phu Chi Fa. We came across a coffee shop, so we stopped by before continuing our journey.
Let's travel around first and then find a place to stay later. Let's go.
After exploring various locations with beautiful flowers and vibrant tiger lilies, it was time to find accommodation for the third night.
Good view at Phu Chi Fa, with parking space and beautiful tent atmosphere. This angle is perfect.
Watching the sunset with a simple dinner in the cold weather, so cool.
Waking up to a cool, crisp morning, we set off on our journey to Phu Chi Fa to witness the breathtaking sea of mist.

An Unforgettable Experience: Capturing the Essence of Wat Rong Khun
The breathtaking beauty of this particular angle inspired me to take hundreds of photographs, and I've carefully selected a few to share with you. Continuing our journey, after packing our belongings, we embarked on a long drive towards Chiang Mai. However, as we passed through the city of Chiang Rai, we couldn't resist making a stop at the renowned Wat Rong Khun.
Let's continue. It will be dark soon. There is a place to stop for lunch a little before Chiang Mai.
Initially, we planned to stay overnight in Doi Inthanon. However, considering the possibility of darkness and difficulty in finding accommodation, we decided to look for accommodation in Chiang Mai city instead. This decision was made for the fourth night of our trip.
The morning began with a leisurely breakfast before continuing our journey to Mae Hong Son.
Before reaching Pai, we stopped at the same coffee shop, Maemod, as we do almost every year.
Upon arriving in Pai, it is essential to capture some memorable photos.

This trip has been full of Chinese tourists. We'll continue on, but I've never stopped at the Mae Yen stupa before. It's along the way.

During the day, Pai was quite hot, so we decided to head straight to Mae Hong Son for our fifth night. On the way, before reaching the city, we stopped at another tourist spot.
Coffee shop with beautiful views
Five kilometers further down the road, we came across a place we had passed many times before but never entered: the Sutong Bridge.
We then headed to our accommodation in the charming little town of Mae Hong Son, before setting out to capture some photos in the city.

After that, we went down to find something to eat for dinner and took some more photos. Then we checked into our accommodation for the fifth night.
Waking up to a cool morning with fog filling the road, our destination was Mae Sot District, which required us to navigate the winding roads of Khun Yuam, Mae Sariang, and Mae Ramad. The new roads offered a smooth ride, allowing us to maintain a steady pace despite the scenic curves. The picturesque fog along the way added to the beauty of the journey.
We arrived in Mae Sot in the afternoon and had some time to explore the Bike Week event before settling in for the night.
On the morning of the 7th, we departed from Mae Sot. In the late morning, we stopped by the second bridge, but we couldn't find it because it was still under construction. We were a little disappointed.
After a relaxing drive from Mae Sot to Tak, Kamphaeng Phet, Nakhon Sawan, and Ayutthaya, we took the main road to Bang Bua Thong, Nakhon Pathom, Ratchaburi, and finally reached Hua Hin as darkness fell. We decided to rest for the night in Pran Buri. On the 8th day, we continued our journey back to Chumphon, enjoying a leisurely drive and capturing over 2,000 photos, of which 800 were stunning. This was our fourth consecutive year embarking on a solo motorcycle trip to the north. For more photos, please visit our Facebook page:
