They have brought all these elements together in a single event. Additionally, they have added a unique challenge by announcing that this running event will not only measure performance in kilometers (distance) but also introduce a fun twist by measuring results in kilograms (weight).
The Running Festival of Food, Fun, Friends, and Family: KILORUN 2018
KILORUN 2018, aptly titled "THE RUNNING FESTIVAL OF FOOD | FUN | FRIEND | FAMILY," is a unique event that combines the joy of running with the pleasure of exploring diverse culinary delights and cultural experiences. Participants embark on a journey of "วิ่ง กิน เที่ยว เรื่องเดียวกัน" (running, eating, and sightseeing), savoring the best dishes from renowned restaurants while traversing scenic routes rich in cultural and architectural heritage.
This event offers a "ครบรส" (complete) experience, immersing participants in the vibrant cultures of four cities across four countries: Bangkok (Thailand), Bali (Indonesia), Osaka (Japan), and Hanoi (Vietnam). For the first city, Bangkok (Thailand), the route will start at Larn Khon Muang, Bangkok City Hall, and will loop around Rattanakosin Island. Unlike other running events, this one is held over two days, March 24-25, 2018, with two separate races: one on March 24th and another on March 25th. Each day will feature two race categories.
