Obsessed with the drama "Love Destiny," I took advantage of a one-day break to follow in the footsteps of the drama in Ayutthaya.

A captivating display of Thai attire, showcasing its elegance and allure on women.

We began our journey on Sunday, March 4th. The first temple we visited was Wat Chaiwatthanaram. We were fortunate to arrive early and secure a parking spot.

I initially intended to take some photos, but as I walked around, I saw people wearing Thai costumes and couldn't resist.

Many people are wearing Thai costumes to take photos.

Wat Chaiwatthanaram

The Wat Chaiwatthanaram temple was constructed during the reign of King Prasat Thong in 1630 AD. [2] The site where the temple stands was previously the residence of the king's mother, who passed away before Prasat Thong ascended the throne. Upon becoming king, he built Wat Chaiwatthanaram to dedicate merit to his mother. Additionally, the temple may have been constructed to commemorate a victory over the Khmer, as its architectural style incorporates elements from Angkor Wat.

Upon seeing many people dressed in Thai attire taking photos, we decided to rent Thai costumes in Ayutthaya. We found a shop called Kru U Show.

This is the phone number of the shop for those who are interested. The shop is located under the Predi Bridge. After passing under the bridge, turn left. The shop will be on the left-hand side. Alternatively, you can contact the shop via Facebook under the name "Kru U Show" or call the number provided. The costumes are available in various prices and are all beautiful.

If any ladies are interested, feel free to browse.

After changing into the Ayutthaya period costume, we returned to Wat Chaiwatthanaram. Fortunately, we had parked our car at the temple and took a public bus (a small Ayutthaya tuk-tuk from Wat Chai to the restaurant for 80 baht) because when we went back, we were shocked to see a long traffic jam and a lot of people.

Note that there is an entrance fee at Wat Chai. Thai citizens pay 10 baht, while foreigners pay 50 baht.

In Ayutthaya, there is an event called "Dress in Thai Costume and Visit Wat Chaiwatthanaram". You can register and receive souvenirs at the event.

Feel free to find a good angle and take photos as you like.

Wearing beautiful clothes might give you the opportunity to be a temporary model.

Temple 2: Wat Phutthaisawan

Wat Phutthaisawan is a royal temple located on the west bank of the Chao Phraya River in Sam Phrao Lam Subdistrict, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya District. During the Ayutthaya period, Wat Phutthaisawan was a large and famous royal temple. According to legend, King Ramathibodi I (King U Thong) built it on the site of his pavilion when he migrated to settle before establishing Ayutthaya as the capital. This place is mentioned in the Royal Chronicles as "Tambon Wiang Lek or Wiang Lek". After the establishment of Ayutthaya, in 1896, he ordered the construction of this temple as a royal memorial at the same place where he had settled. Subsequent monarchs would have ordered the construction of additional permanent structures. When the capital fell in 1767, Wat Phutthaisawan was one of the few temples that was not destroyed by the enemy. Therefore, many ancient sites remain to be seen today.

Another location we visited was the Ayutthaya Historical Park.

In conclusion, this was a very worthwhile day trip. I encourage everyone to visit Ayutthaya and experience its rich history and culture. Let's all wear Thai attire to preserve this beautiful tradition for generations to come. #ThaiDress #EveryoneLooksGoodInIt
