"Following in the footsteps of 'Love Destiny,' Ayutthaya."

The popularity of the TV series "Love Destiny" has led to a surge in tourism to Ayutthaya, the historical capital of Thailand.

I recently visited Ayutthaya to see what all the fuss was about. It was indeed crowded and hot, but the historical sites were well worth the visit. I visited seven temples in total:

- Wat Chaiwatthanaram
- Wat Phukhao Thong
- Wat Lokayasutharam
- Wat Phra Si Sanphet
- Wat Ratchaburana
- Wat Mahathat
- Wat Yai Chaimongkol

The best way to get around Ayutthaya is by train, which costs only 20 baht. I arrived at 7:00 am and left at 3:59 pm. Once I arrived, I hired a tuk-tuk to take me around, as it was too hot to cycle.
