Bangkok is a vibrant city, but during the hustle and bustle of life, we often seek a place to relax. We decided to travel from Bangkok to Koh Tao, with various transportation companies available. We opted for the services of Lomprayah.

We had always heard about the delicious food on Koh Tao, and of course, we couldn't wait to try it. So we booked a bus and ferry ticket to Koh Tao through busonlineticket.co.th. This is our travel experience with Lomprayah from Bangkok to Koh Tao:

1) Check in at Lumphraya Company.

2) Stop at Chumphon Pier

3) Unwind with a journey by catamaran or speedboat.

4) Arriving at Mae Haad Pier on Koh Tao

Check in at Lomprayah Company

We checked in at the Lomprayah office on Khao San Road in the morning. We were able to choose our seats during check-in, so those who checked in earlier had the advantage of selecting their preferred seats. The staff then handed us our tickets and luggage stickers, and we relaxed on the bus until we reached Chumphon Pier, arriving just in time for the morning.

Stop at Chumphon Pier

After approximately 7 hours of travel, we stopped at Chumphon Pier to continue our journey. Coincidentally, we arrived at the pier of Lomprayah Company, where a catamaran speedboat was already docked and waiting. The staff called us to board the boat and took care of our luggage.

Relax with a Catamaran Ferry Ride

The ferry boasts spacious and air-conditioned seating, offering a comfortable and free seating arrangement. Passengers can choose their preferred seats and order refreshments from the counter. With three decks, the ferry provides ample space for movement and exploration. Passengers can descend to the lower deck or ascend to the upper deck for breathtaking views. Additionally, clean restrooms are available for passenger convenience.

Finally arrived at Mae Haad, Koh Tao.

After a two-hour ferry ride on a catamaran, we finally arrived at Mae Haad Pier on Koh Tao. Taxis and tuk-tuks were waiting to pick up tourists who had booked their transportation in advance. However, we, as independent travelers, desired to use a motorbike taxi. Therefore, we followed the signs to the main entrance of Koh Tao.
