This will be a mini-review of a restaurant I recently tried that opened not long ago at Mega Bangna. The restaurant's name is OSAKA OHSHO, pronounced "Osaka Ohsho," I think. I forgot to ask the staff.

This small shop is located opposite Big C. The main menu of the shop is gyoza. Personally, I like to eat gyoza, so I was interested in going in to see the price. I thought it was quite expensive, so I hesitated at first whether to try it or not.

However, upon glancing at the other side, I noticed the restaurant's promotion and decided to give it a try. Additionally, the restaurant offered Mapo Tofu, which is one of my favorite dishes, so I decided to dine there.

Upon entering the restaurant, the staff greeted me and inquired about my menu preference. Having already reviewed the menu, I promptly placed my order. The staff then asked about my dessert preference for the dumplings, to which I chose banana chocolate.

The restaurant offered two seating options: a counter with a view of the kitchen and tables. I opted for a table, as I found it more spacious for sitting.

After sitting down for a while, the food I ordered arrived. The set included Japanese rice, gyoza, mapo tofu, and clear soup. I must say that the taste was quite good. The Japanese rice was soft and chewy, just the right texture. The mapo tofu was much better than I expected. I haven't had such delicious mapo tofu in a long time. The main dish of the restaurant is gyoza, and I must say that the taste lived up to the standard. The filling was dense, the dough was thin but not easily broken, which was just right. However, the taste was just okay for me. The clear soup was delicious, with a rich and flavorful broth.

Many people may be wondering about the chocolate banana fritters for dessert. In short, I forgot to ask for a picture. Haha! I ate it first. This is a decent dessert. The dough is thin and crispy, and the filling is made of slightly mashed ripe bananas. It is drizzled with chocolate and tastes good.

Today, I paid 220 baht for my meal. Overall, I think the price is a bit high for the amount of food I received. However, I was full after eating. If the set meal was priced at 200 baht or less, I think it would be more reasonable. But if you like to eat Mapo Tofu, I recommend trying this restaurant. It was delicious! 555+
