Location 1: Phu Suan Sai National Park and Phu Huay Hom

Phu Suan Sai and Phu Huay Hom National Parks, located in Na Haeo District, Loei Province, are popular tourist destinations, especially during the winter season. Numerous campers gather to witness the breathtaking morning mist and stunning sunsets. The area's lush forests contribute to the parks' pleasant climate throughout the year.
Phu Huay Hom is another landmark for visitors to Phu Suan Sai National Park, located approximately 17 kilometers away. It offers camping facilities and restrooms for overnight stays. The mountain boasts a scenic viewpoint with panoramic views of the surrounding mountains, complete with informative signage detailing each peak. Visitors can also enjoy breathtaking views of the Thai-Lao border.

The Christmas Trees of Phu Ruea National Park
Nestled in the Phu Ruea district of Loei province, Phu Ruea National Park boasts a stunning display of vibrant red Christmas trees. These trees, known as "ต้นคริสต์มาสภูเรือ" in Thai, stand majestically at the entrance of the park, offering a breathtaking sight against the backdrop of the sun.
Visitors can freely admire and photograph these festive trees without any entrance fees. Additionally, the Christmas Tree Plaza provides a delightful array of local delicacies and souvenirs, making it an ideal spot to grab a bite or find unique gifts for loved ones back home.
Phu Ruea National Park encompasses areas within Phu Ruea and Tha Li districts of Loei province. Its northern boundary borders Laos.
Renowned for its breathtaking beauty, Phu Ruea is a must-visit destination for tourists. During the winter season, the mountain's allure intensifies, attracting visitors who brave the cold to witness the mesmerizing sunrise.

In addition to offering breathtaking views for photography, a refreshing atmosphere, and clean air, the summit of Phu Ruea also houses the Nawa Bappha Buddha statue, which was brought from Ayutthaya by the people of Phu Ruea.

The Phu Ruea National Park offers accommodation and camping facilities, including separate restrooms for men and women, to ensure the convenience of visitors. (It is recommended to book accommodation in advance during peak season.)

The third location, Phra That Si Song Rak, is situated in Dan Sai District, Loei Province.

Phra That Sri Song Rak is another popular destination for tourists visiting Loei Province. It is considered auspicious to pay respects at this temple before embarking on a journey.
During the Sri Song Rak Shrine celebration, the atmosphere is filled with "ต้นผึ้ง" (beehive-shaped offerings). These offerings are made from natural materials such as banana stalks, cut and tied together to form a triangular structure. They are used as offerings to the shrine and are a unique charm of Loei province.
The fourth location is Phu Tok, a breathtaking viewpoint for admiring the sea of mist in Chiang Khan, Loei Province.

Getting to Phu Tok
Travel: From Chiang Khan Market, take Highway 211 towards Pak Chom District. You will find a right turn with a sign for the Chiang Khan Telecommunications Station. To reach the summit of Phu Tok, you must park your car at the foot of the mountain. Parking is available for a fee of 20 baht per car if you are not staying at a resort. To ascend Phu Tok, you can use the public transportation provided by the Chiang Khan District Office. The fare is 25 baht per person.

Phu Thok is located in Chiang Khan District, Loei Province. Many people call it the "Land of the Mist Sea".
