As mentioned in my previous post, we spent three days and two nights in Chanthaburi. One reason was to practice driving outside of Bangkok, and the other reason we chose Chanthaburi was because we received a complimentary one-night stay, one dinner, and an indigo dyeing activity from Peggy's Cove Fisherman Village in Ao Kung Wiman, Chanthaburi, through the Readme Blogger Matching program.

The previous post reviewed the exterior of Peggy's Cove Fisherman Village. Now, let's take a look inside the guest rooms.

Peggy's Cove Fisherman Village in Ao Kung Wiman, Chanthaburi, offers 38 elegantly decorated and well-designed rooms. Each room is spacious and well-proportioned, with options ranging from Deluxe to Deluxe Pool-Access, Deluxe Jacuzzi Villa, and Grand Deluxe Pool Villa with private pools.

The room we booked was a Deluxe, but since the hotel was fully booked, it was being cleaned. So we asked to see the only available room, which was the Deluxe Jacuzzi Villa. Let's go check it out.

The specially designed ceiling resembles that of a barn.

Upon entering, you will encounter a built-in wardrobe for storing clothes and a mini-bar stocked with complimentary tea, coffee, and bottled water. To the right, there is a flat-screen TV. However, the most impressive feature is the dedicated workspace located further inside.

The left side is a double bed, thick and soft, inviting sleep.

The windows are equipped with both thick blackout curtains and sheer curtains for light filtering, creating a soft and gentle light atmosphere.

Another thing I like is that they provide a lot of pillows.

Another highlight of this room is the Jacuzzi bathtub.

A large window is located on the side, but there is no need to worry about exposure, as there is also a large curtain provided.

The exterior offers a pleasant ambiance when viewed from the inside.

The highlight of this room is the private pool-like stream accessible through the back door. Guests can dip their feet in the refreshing water and enjoy a unique swimming experience.

Let's return to our room. The Deluxe room is located on the ground floor of this vibrant blue two-story building.

Upon entering, the interior is consistent with the exterior. Built-in wardrobes for clothing storage, a mini-bar, and various sized baskets for towels are provided. Additionally, essential amenities such as liquid soap, shampoo, conditioner, and more are readily available, ensuring a comprehensive and convenient experience.

Our room is a triple room with one large bed and one small bed.

Both beds are the same size and have the same number of pillows as before. I like it.

The bathroom also features a large bathtub, which is a nice touch.

Bathroom Amenities

The bathroom features a glass partition separating the dry and wet areas, and is fully equipped with amenities. Additionally, a soft satin robe is provided.

The back of the room features a spacious balcony with a large sofa, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the garden view.

Let's take a look at breakfast. Breakfast is served at the Light House restaurant, where we had dinner last night. However, the decor has been adjusted to make it more suitable for breakfast.

The hotel offers a breakfast buffet from 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM, featuring a wide variety of Thai and international dishes.

Travel Route

- Departing from Bangkok via the expressway

- Follow the sign for Ban Bueng - Klaeng and turn left at the exit.

  • Continue straight until you reach the Sam Yaek Klang intersection, then turn left onto Sukhumvit Road and continue towards Chanthaburi.
  • Run on Sukhumvit Road until you reach the Prasert intersection, then turn right.

- Turn left onto Chalermprakiet Chaloem Phrakiat Road at Khlong Poon Intersection.

  • Run on Chalermprakiet Chaloem Burapha Road until you reach Krung Wiman Intersection, turn right and continue straight onto Krung Wiman Beach Road.

Turn left and continue for 20 meters. Peggy's Cove will be on your left.
