Travel map in Prague ..

Lesser Bridge Tower, located on the same side as the Tower Hotel, is ideal for afternoon and evening visits. The sunlight bathes the city, offering stunning views from above. Bridge Street, with its cobblestone pavement dating back over 600 years, adds to the historical charm.

The path to the top starts right at the iron gate. Upon entering, you will find the ticket booth where tickets cost 90 KC each. The view from the top is worth the price.

The Tower of the bridge has two sides: the Old Town side, called the Old Town Bridge Tower, which is shown in the picture.

They are popular in the morning and the price is the same...

After descending from the scenic viewpoint in the afternoon, we will stroll to the city's magnificent castle, a cultural landmark of Prague.

After passing the accommodation, walk back up towards the Church of St. Nicholas. You will then encounter the Holy Trinity Column monument next to the church. As shown in the picture, walk up to Prague Castle through the alleyway on the left side of the building.

Strolling past paintings... from various perspectives through the eyes of the artist. Anyone looking for a souvenir will find the prices quite reasonable.

St. Nicholas Church

The image depicts a person walking uphill. The weather appears hot, and the scene resembles a location in Thailand. As the person walks along the path, they encounter stairs leading to the top.

Upon ascending the stairs, you will encounter a vantage point offering panoramic views of the city. From there, proceed to Tomas Square, where the entrance to Prague Castle is located on the right-hand side.

The castle grounds are open to the public free of charge, but there is an entrance fee to enter the interior. Unfortunately, we arrived at 5:00 PM, just as it was closing, so we were unable to see the beauty inside.

The sentence is empty.

Prague Castle, the largest ancient castle in the world, was built in the 11th century in the Gothic style. Although it currently serves as the official residence of the Czech president, Prague Castle, also known as Hradčany Palace, retains its historical charm. The castle was founded in 885 by Prince Bořivoj and served as the seat of Bohemian kings for centuries. It played a significant role as a center of power in Central Europe. On the other side of St. Vitus Cathedral, the Great Tower stands prominently.

After passing through St. George's Basilica, you will find the entrance to Golden Lane, the most charming and narrowest street in Prague, located within the castle grounds. This street was built during the construction of the northern fortifications of the castle in the late 15th century. In the past, these terraced houses served as residences for the guards of the royal palace during the reign of Rudolf II. A century later, goldsmiths moved in and began converting them into shops and residences. However, due to the large crowds, it was difficult to appreciate the unique colors of the buildings.

A stroll through the paintings... from various perspectives through the eyes of the artist. A perfect souvenir at an affordable price.

The next morning, I had the opportunity to capture the morning atmosphere on Charles Bridge.

The overcast weather obscured the sunlight, and our amateur photography skills limited us to capturing basic images.

We then walked across the Charles Bridge to the Old Town, heading towards the center of Old Town Square. It was deserted, a stark contrast to the crowds we encountered yesterday.
As the sun had yet to rise, the bridge was still dimly lit, and we continued our leisurely stroll.

As we continued walking, we came across a 60-meter-tall tower that was part of the Old City Hall. The tower has served as the city hall since the Middle Ages. In front of the tower is a large clock, but unfortunately, it was under repair during our visit.

The Church of Our Lady before Tyn, a Gothic church with spires, is located near the Old Town Square. It is the second most important church in Prague after St. Vitus Cathedral in Prague Castle.
In the center of the square stands a monument to Jan Hus, a religious reformer who opposed the corruption of the Catholic Church in the 15th century. He criticized the lavish lifestyles of high-ranking clergy, the sale of indulgences, and the Vatican's wealth. Hus was condemned to death and burned at the stake. His execution sparked a rebellion against the Catholic Church, with priests being thrown from towers and the Hussite Wars erupting between those loyal to the Church and those who opposed it. Jan Hus is considered a national hero of the Czech people.

The Charles Bridge, spanning the Vltava River, is over 500 meters long and nearly 10 meters wide. It consists of 16 arches adorned with 30 statues of saints and other figures. The bridge was constructed on July 9, 1357, at 5:31 am. The start time is composed entirely of odd numbers (1, 3, 5, 7, 9), all of which are prime numbers except for 9.

We walked back the same way to enjoy the view from the bridge as it was starting to get light. ...
