Day 1

Our group of four embarked on a journey from Bangkok to Pattaya. The drive was relatively short, and we arrived just in time for lunch. Eager to find a delicious meal, we searched online and discovered "Ruen Talay Bangsaen Restaurant." The restaurant is located just beyond Nong Nooch Garden and a short distance down a side street.

After a satisfying meal, we took a short drive back to "The Glass House", another renowned restaurant in Pattaya. The ambiance was exceptional, with the restaurant boasting a stunning beachfront location. Every corner of the establishment was meticulously decorated, exuding a chic aesthetic. We were guaranteed an abundance of photo opportunities. While the menu offered both savory and sweet options, we opted for desserts as we had already eaten. The flavors were decent, making it an ideal spot for relaxing and capturing stylish photographs.

After relaxing for a while, we drove back to the hotel to check in. Our hotel was located in Sattahip, which we chose because of its proximity to Koh Samet, which was on our itinerary for the next day. Before checking in, we stopped by the "Royal Thai Navy Sea Turtle Conservation Center in Sattahip", but it was already closed when we arrived. We were only able to see the turtle ponds, but the staff was very friendly and provided us with a lot of information. This center is a great place for families with children to learn about nature.

We then rested at "Varasin Resort", located just 5 minutes from Koh Saemsan. If you plan to visit the island early in the morning, this resort is highly recommended. Due to the limited daily capacity of 400-600 people, arriving early is crucial. Staying nearby offers convenience and affordability. The resort comfortably accommodates four guests, boasts a swimming pool, and provides a tranquil atmosphere. Initially, we had low expectations, but upon arrival, we were pleasantly surprised by the excellent service and amenities.

Day 2

On the second day, we woke up early at 5:30 am to catch the 7:00 am ferry to the island. However, by the time we got dressed, it was almost 8:00 am. When we arrived, we were assigned queue number 313, which was a bit surprising. Nevertheless, the queue was well-organized. We had to collect a queue ticket first, and then at 8:00 am, the staff called out the queue numbers to purchase tickets. We then boarded the ferry at the pier. The round-trip ferry ticket to the island costs 300 baht per person. Please note that there is no accommodation available on the island.

Tickets for Kham Island and Samaesan Island are purchased at different locations, but the boat departs from the same pier.

We boarded the 10 am boat, fully stocked with provisions. While there are limited goods available for purchase at the destination, it is highly recommended to bring your own supplies. Additionally, please remember to dispose of your waste responsibly and help preserve the natural environment.

A Short Trip to Koh Samet: Crystal-Clear Waters and Relaxation Await

Just a 10-minute boat ride away lies Koh Samet, an island boasting crystal-clear waters. For those with limited time but yearning for a beautiful seaside escape, this island is a perfect choice. You won't be disappointed!

Activities on the island include snorkeling with Nemo fish and glass-bottom boat tours to observe marine life. However, we opted for a more laid-back approach, simply relaxing by the beach. While we don't have pictures to share, our friends who went snorkeling confirmed encountering Nemo. This activity is highly recommended for those seeking adventure without venturing too far.

For first-time snorkelers, fret not! Before diving in, experienced staff will provide guidance and instruction. The equipment rental fee is a mere 50 baht.

This area has facilities for washing and changing clothes, but the use of shampoo is prohibited. While we have observed some individuals using shampoo, it is crucial that we all work together to uphold the established rules. By doing so, we can ensure the long-term preservation of the natural environment.

After a nap, my friends finished diving just in time for the 3 pm boat back. However, there was a special 2 pm boat that day, so we quickly packed our things because we were going to Bangsaen next.

We quickly arrived at Bangsaen and headed to Wonnapha Beach. We stayed at "betta hostel," which offered sea view rooms at an affordable price. However, it's more suitable for young adults as the bar downstairs plays loud music until almost 1 am.

After settling into our accommodation and freshening up with a shower, we headed out for a seafood buffet. Based on our research and recommendations, we decided to try "Triple Grill." Following the directions on our map, we eagerly made our way to the restaurant.

The price is 299 baht per person, all inclusive, unlimited time. I must say it was very enjoyable and excellent. We grilled while looking at the sea with a cool breeze. The ingredients were very fresh. The shop also played good music, everything was perfect. The food was served quickly. If you come to Bangsaen, you must stop by here. It's worth it!

We then drove to Bangsaen for a relaxing view before going to bed. I must say that this place is perfect for young people like us. There are many chill-out places, a great seaside atmosphere, and a wide variety of cafes to choose from. It might be because it's close to Burapha University, which is why there are so many cool places to hang out.

- Day 3 -

On the last morning, we woke up and headed to "Go Pee Hub," a famous dim sum restaurant. The food was delicious, and we ordered a lot. Most importantly, it was affordable. Everything was tasty, but the purple sweet potato buns were especially memorable.

Before heading back, we stopped by "we coffee cuisine," a popular cafe in Bangsaen. Despite the crowd, the wait wasn't too long. The cafe's decor is perfect for taking photos, both inside and outside. They offer a variety of savory and sweet dishes, all at reasonable prices. The food was decent, and the prices were fair.

Before returning to Bangkok, we relaxed by the sea, chatting and unanimously agreeing that this trip was fantastic. We were impressed by Koh Saemsan. Although it is not far away, the water is incredibly clear and beautiful. Even at the pier, the water was so transparent that we could see small fish. One thing we want to emphasize to everyone visiting is the importance of following the rules and maintaining cleanliness. If only the staff were responsible for maintaining the area, they would be overwhelmed. Hundreds of people visit each day. If we don't all do our part, these pristine waters will eventually disappear.

I hope everyone enjoys it. Please support and follow our page.
