This is the first mountain we've climbed. It was difficult to pack for the start.

We set off on Friday, February 16, 2018. After work, we had to rush to Mo Chit. We had to prepare our things in advance because the traffic was terrible. We got off the bus feeling dizzy because we were so sleepy. 5555 When we got off, we met many groups of people who were also going to climb the mountain. We didn't feel lonely.

We took a group van to the park headquarters. Before going up to the park, the driver took us to the morning market in case we wanted to buy anything to eat. However, it was very early, and there wasn't much for sale yet. It's recommended to bring your own food or buy it at the 7-Eleven in Khiri Mas, as there won't be anything to eat later.
Upon arriving at the Ramkhamhaeng National Park (Khao Luang) headquarters, we had to wait until 8:00 AM to borrow or rent tents, sleeping bags, etc., before we could start climbing the mountain. In the meantime, we took showers, brushed our teeth, washed our faces, and prepared to wait. When the time came, we prepared ourselves mentally and physically and started climbing the mountain.
The first part of the climb was very tiring, and I wanted to give up. I thought to myself, "I don't want to climb anymore." But then I realized that going down would be tiring too. I thought, "Well, I've come this far, so I might as well keep going." In the end, I made it to the top, feeling exhausted and craving something sweet.
Those planning to climb Khao Luang should prepare physically beforehand. I personally dislike exercise, and it nearly killed me. Thankfully, there were rest stops along the way with water, cool air, and stunning views to keep my spirits up. I reached the summit in four hours. Give yourself a round of applause!
After setting up the tent and organizing our belongings, we continued our trek to conquer the mountain peaks! Our fitness levels were put to the test, but our energy surged as we progressed.
We successfully summited the following peaks:
- Khao Luang Peak (Camping Site)
- Khao Phra Chedi
- Phu Ka
- Khao Mae Ya
- Khao Narai

- The distance is about 3 kilometers, but the porters told us it might actually be 5-6 kilometers (we believe the porters 5555).
