The bus jolted as our bottoms hit the seats, rocking us back and forth. Our journey to Mui Ne had begun, a 3-hour drive stretching before us. We set off from Dalat, the bus winding its way along the mountainside, heading straight for Mui Ne, the trendy coastal town that many yearn to experience.
The honking of a jeep's horn at 4:30 AM signaled the arrival of our transportation. With anticipation, we embarked on an exciting journey to explore the five most popular tourist destinations in Mui Ne, as part of our pre-booked tour.
Let's whet your appetite with a sneak peek of our previous adventures... Oh, come on! Let's go on a trip already. Stop showing off pictures and hurry up! 😅
Red Desert
Fisherman Village
#A small stream called Fairy Stream
White Sand Dune
Our tour began with an early morning wake-up call… well, not really early, as it was still dark when the tour bus arrived. We barely managed to drag ourselves out of bed.
As the wheels of our car began to roll, we embarked on our journey to the first destination: the breathtaking white desert. Wow, it's vast and beautiful!
White Sand Dune
The jeep we were in couldn't enter the White Sand Dune, so we had to negotiate a price to get in. We could either take a jeep or an ATV. We chose the ATV, which was a lot of fun. We drove around for an hour, taking pictures and enjoying the scenery.

02 Red Sand Dune
Just a short distance from the White Sand Dune, we arrived at the Red Sand Dune. We only had 20 minutes here, which felt way too short! We quickly hopped out to experience the brown sand. In our opinion, the White Sand Dune was more beautiful, but the Red Sand Dune offered a different kind of beauty. The reddish-brown hues were stunning in photos, and there was even a slide to play on (although we didn't have time to try it, unfortunately).

At the Red Desert, ladies, don't miss out on dressing up and doing your hair, because this desert is perfect for taking lots of photos.
03 Fisherman Village is a bustling marketplace where local fishermen sell their fresh catches. With a vibrant atmosphere reminiscent of a fish market, the village offers a glimpse into the daily lives of these hardworking individuals. Visitors can witness a vast array of live seafood, from glistening fish to plump shellfish, displayed for sale. The sight of hundreds of colorful fishing boats bobbing on the water adds to the charm of this unique destination.
This is the way of life for the fishermen here. They are very fond of using basket boats.

Fairy Stream: A Colorful Oasis
The Fairy Stream, known as Suối Tiên in Vietnamese, is a captivating natural wonder. This small stream, carved from a massive sandstone mountain, boasts vibrant layers of rock and sand. Its unique beauty is reminiscent of a miniature mountain range, offering stunning panoramic views. The stream's colorful hues create a mesmerizing spectacle, making it a photographer's paradise.
Beneath the ancient ruins, just sitting down to take a photo is cool enough. Look at this.
The top resembles a mountain, offering a scenic view of the stream below. The scenery is beautiful.
In addition to encountering a fair number of Thai tourists, we also found that this tourist attraction is quite popular among foreigners.

05 Beachfront Bliss
Mui Ne's accommodations often boast direct access to the sea, offering a private beach experience right at your doorstep. Step out of your room and onto the sand, where charming huts and comfortable chairs await. Relax by the water's edge, soak up the sun, or take a refreshing dip in the ocean. As the sun sets, the beach transforms into a breathtaking spectacle, inviting you to lose yourself in the vastness of the horizon and let your mind wander.

Our accommodation tonight in Mui Ne is right on the beach, like having our own private beach.
The water in the sea is not very clear, but there are still quite a few people playing in it. Watching people walk by is a good way to relax.
The tranquility of the sea at Mui Ne is truly remarkable, making it an ideal destination for relaxation and rejuvenation.
Our stance is all about "heels". Hmm.. Oh!! If we don't stand with our heels, how will we stand? Haha
Sometimes it's good to have a peaceful mind and heart. It's relaxing.
We've visited all 5 tourist attractions on the tour, including sandboarding. Overall, it was okay, but we felt it was a bit rushed. However, we still managed to take a lot of photos. Women might need more time for photos, though. The tour was organized by The Sinh Tourist, the same company that operates the bus. We chose the morning tour to catch the sunrise at the White Sand Dunes. We left at 4:30 AM and returned at 9:30 AM, for a total of 5 hours. For the price of 119,000 VND (around 160 Thai baht) per person, it was definitely worth it. Great value for money!
After reading this far, it's time to go on a trip! Mui Ne offers a unique and visually stunning experience, with plenty of cool locations for taking photos. You're guaranteed to return with a wealth of beautiful pictures to share. Getting there is also convenient. Come and experience it for yourself!
Transportation
Traveling to Mui Ne requires a bus connection from Da Lat, as there are no direct flights. Here's a summary of the journey:
Fly directly from Thailand to Dalat, which now offers direct flights for a comfortable 2-hour journey. Alternatively, fly to Ho Chi Minh City, explore the city, and then take a bus or flight to Dalat. Multiple options are available.
The journey from Dalat to Mui Ne by bus takes approximately 4 hours. There are only two bus departures per day, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. We purchased tickets from The Sinh Tourist, a major Vietnamese tour operator, for 98,000 VND per person, which is equivalent to approximately 130 Thai baht.
There are many promotional airline tickets available now. If you see one, it is recommended to purchase it immediately.
This is the end of our session for now. We'll see you again next time. Goodbye.
