Of course, for many people, visiting Japan and having to pay high accommodation costs may not be very convenient for their wallets. Alternatively, some travelers may be interested in trying a new experience that is different from what most people do. For my stay at the hostel this time, I wanted to save money on accommodation in Tokyo before paying a lot for a good onsen ryokan outside the city. This year, I am traveling to the Tohoku region, which is located north of Tokyo and extends to Aomori Prefecture.
Capsule hotels are a budget-friendly accommodation option for travelers on a tight budget or those who prioritize affordability over amenities. Japan, a popular tourist destination, is credited with pioneering this style of hotel.
Today, I am taking you to experience a hostel in Okubo Station, which is said to be Korea Town. Indeed, there are many Korean restaurants and numerous Korean celebrity photos displayed in various shops.

Let's start our tour from the lobby of this accommodation, located on the 8th floor. The interior design is simple yet elegant.
The guest lounge is located behind the lobby, separated by a wall. We can walk around it to find a seating area for guests or those who are about to check in. There are power outlets available for use at these corner tables.
Check-in opens at 1:00 PM. However, even if you have booked a 3-night stay, the hotel may require you to check out before 10:00 AM the next day and check in again at 1:00 PM the following day. Your belongings can be stored in a locker during this time. An image of the locker will be provided.
On the left-hand side, you will see that most of the tourists are Westerners waiting to check in.
The elevator is divided into floors for men and women. The men's floors are listed here, and there is another elevator in the middle for going up and down.
After checking in, you will receive a paper card with a QR CODE to open the locker. The locker has two levels: the upper level is for shoes, and the lower level is for luggage, which can accommodate large suitcases. Two hangers are also provided in the lower level cabinet.
In their locker, they will provide you with an Amenity bag like this, along with a set of pajamas.
After taking a shower, I went up to the 8th floor to finish writing this review.
Let's take a look at the **bathroom**. There are plenty of them, and while I was initially worried about privacy when showering, it turned out that not many people use the bathrooms at the same time. So, if you're shy or uncomfortable using a shared bathroom, you can put those worries aside. The bathrooms are clean, and the shampoo and shower gel are provided by the accommodation. You only need to bring your own facial cleanser.

Overall Impression of the Stay: The service provided by the staff was generally impressive, with all staff members able to communicate effectively in English. The beds were made of a fiber material, which resulted in some noise transmission from adjacent rooms when walls were knocked or touched. The bathroom was satisfactory and not as concerning as initially imagined, although its location on the 7th floor while the bedroom was on the 4th floor could be slightly inconvenient. Ultimately, the stay provided a positive social experience, with opportunities to meet and interact with people from various countries and backgrounds, fostering cultural exchange and diverse perspectives.
