Enjoy a luxurious soak in a hot tub without breaking the bank.

I was recently in the area of Bangkok University's Rangsit campus and needed to find a hotel for the night. After searching on Booking.com, I came across the Siri Mantra Hotel, conveniently located in Soi Toyota. I booked the hotel and paid 1490 baht.

Upon arriving, I was surprised by the eerie silence and emptiness of the entrance. As I drove down the lane, I couldn't help but wonder if I was in the right place. There was nothing but barren land on either side. I double-checked the map, and it confirmed that I was indeed at the correct location.

Upon arrival, the staff will request your booking confirmation number. They will then ask for a 200 baht deposit for the room key, which will be refunded upon your return. The staff will then escort you to your room and provide you with two bottles of cold drinking water.

We received room number 5. The room door is a key-operated lock. Looking above the door, there is a price tag attached. This indicates that in addition to overnight guests, the establishment also caters to short-term visitors. On the side wall, there is a panel where we can turn the lights on and off, as well as adjust the temperature of the air conditioner.

As I sank into the bed, it bounced gently. I personally love the bed here - it's incredibly soft and doesn't leave me with any back pain. Additionally, the view from the bed is fantastic. Looking to the right, you'll find a bathtub separated only by a glass partition. If you're not a fan of silence, you can comfortably watch TV from the bed.

The hotel offers curved-screen televisions with stunning picture quality, clear sound, and a wide variety of channels, including both Thai and international options. For those who are unsure of what to watch, a program schedule is available on the table provided by the hotel. We believe that guests who enjoy watching television in their hotel room will appreciate this amenity.

The spacious spa tub allows for a comfortable soak, whether you're alone, with friends, or with your partner. You can adjust the water temperature to your liking, just like in most hotels. However, the tub is located in an air-conditioned room, which can make the air a bit chilly. As a result, I found myself staying submerged in the warm water to avoid the cooler air above the waterline.

The bathroom here has green lights. When we first saw it, we were like, "Huh?" It's kind of a different vibe. We've never stayed anywhere with a bathroom like this before. It's strange, haha.

Advantages VS Disadvantages

Advantages:

1. Affordable price of only 1490 baht, comparable to the value of a spa bath.

2. Parking available

3. Received 2 free bottles of water.

4. Soft bed

  1. The room is clean.

6. Curved-screen television with a wide variety of channels

  1. The air is refreshingly cool.

Disadvantages

1. The secluded entrance may feel strange when walking.

2. If you want to eat, you have to go out to eat or order food.

3. The lack of white light makes it very difficult to apply makeup.

4. No wardrobe, no clothes rack.

For us, we think it's okay, we like it here.

If we have the opportunity to do business in this area again, we will probably come back to sleep here.

As for the white light, when applying makeup,

We solved the problem by turning on the flashlight on our phone and applying makeup.

Luckily, my face didn't float. T^T
