Greetings! Today, I will introduce you to the Chinese restaurant, Lung Fung, located at the Swissôtel Le Concorde.
Due to the tourism industry in Thailand, hotels have been selling vouchers for their restaurants. I was interested, so I decided to try it out. I must say that for 690 baht, it was definitely worth it.
The Long Fung Restaurant is located on the 2nd floor of the Swissôtel Le Concorde. The entrance exudes a strong Chinese atmosphere.
Another clear picture
The first zone you enter is the waiting area.
Upon entering, there is a dining area. I apologize for forgetting to take a picture. The tables are either round Chinese banquet style or square tables for four people.
Let's start with the food. The menu has two sides.
Apologies, the photo is blurry. However, I must clarify that I did not consume everything, although I did eat quite a bit. Let's begin with the first item.
Sesame oil jellyfish. Delicious. The taste is much better than the Chinese banquet I have eaten before. There is a Chinese restaurant that is more delicious than I have ever eaten, Summer Palace, InterContinental Hotel.
The second dish, drunken chicken, was truly delicious. The chicken was tender and perfectly cooked, with a delightful balance of chicken and liquor flavors. The accompanying dipping sauce further enhanced the taste.
The next dish, the cold pork leg, was incredibly delicious and a must-try.
Next, I ordered the Sichuan soup, which was a bit too sour for my taste, but overall it was okay.
The next dish is crispy pork. It's delicious, a bit salty, but the texture is perfect. The pickled vegetables are delicious too. 555+
Crispy pork is always accompanied by char siu. The char siu is delicious and highly recommended.
A must-have for Chinese cuisine is roast duck. Personally, I think it's even better than MK. 555+ I don't know what else to compare it to.
The next dish was a fried dish, which I believe was mango shrimp spring rolls, if I remember correctly. The taste was average, and I wouldn't order it again personally.
The red pork bun was delicious. The bun was soft and the red pork filling was flavorful.
Steamed bun with cream filling. The cream is smooth and soft, but I think it's a bit too sweet.
The next dish was a favorite for meat lovers like me: XO sauce stir-fried beef. The beef was tender, and the sauce was delicious.
Steamed snow fish wrapped in salmon with soy sauce, sprinkled with shredded ginger. The taste is ordinary, you don't have to order it. Haha, for me.
This photo includes several dishes, but I must say the deep-fried shrimp with cream salad is delicious. The Hong Kong kale with oyster sauce is ordinary. The fried garlic chives are delicious and should be ordered. Finally, the steamed chicken with truffle sauce is a must-order. The taste is good and the truffle aroma is full when you bite into it.
Steamed scallops with bird's nest. The taste is good, and the texture is bouncy and chewy.
Another dish not to be missed is the stir-fried dry beef noodles. The tender beef and noodles with the aroma of burnt wok are stir-fried to perfection in flavor.
Finally, for the savory dishes, the gold-leafed har gow dumplings were a highlight. The large shrimp filling and thin dough wrapper delivered a satisfying burst of flavor.
The meal must end with dessert.
The first dish we ordered was the mango pudding, which was absolutely delicious. It had a strong mango flavor and a chewy, pudding-like texture. We highly recommend trying it.
I also tried the orange pudding, but it tasted a bit artificial and not as delicious as the mango. The other one was the mango pomelo sago, which was very delicious and refreshing, with the fresh taste of mango and pomelo pulp.
In conclusion, Lung Fung's dim sum is not only delicious but also of a high standard. The other Chinese dishes on the menu that I recommend are also worth trying.
At a voucher price of 690, this is an excellent value. Even at the full price of 790, it is still worthwhile in my opinion.
Don't forget to try it yourself.
