As the sun sets and the wind settles, a small, cozy steakhouse emerges in the serene atmosphere of the Baan Fah Piyarom village. Nestled near Soi Kieng Suan 15, at the corner of the street, the restaurant is easily visible. This steakhouse, named George Cuisine (George Cuisine Steak & Bar), has recently opened its doors to the public. Previously known as 3312 Pasta, the restaurant was located in a dog pen facing the Baan Fah Piyarom village on Khlong 6.

With extensive experience working in luxury hotels in the Sukhumvit area, the chef understands the finer points of hospitality and has a deep knowledge of food and beverage. This expertise allows them to create restaurant-quality dishes at fair and accessible prices. They prioritize high-quality ingredients and offer a home-style atmosphere reminiscent of a rural farmhouse. Most importantly, they prioritize creating a warm and welcoming environment for their customers.

Restaurant Ambiance

We arrived at the shop in the early evening on a Sunday, when there were not many customers yet. We were able to choose a table to sit at as we pleased. The special feature of each table is that it has a name or nickname attached to the center of each table. However, I will not tell you what they are here. If you pass by, you can stop by and see for yourself. The owner is kind and will look at your palm for free.

The furniture in the shop is made of wood and woven materials, creating a simple yet classic aesthetic.

Upon arrival, we perused the menu, which predominantly featured European and Italian cuisine. To commence our culinary journey, we opted for a glass of fine red wine before delving into the other offerings.

Shrimp roe salad

To whet the appetite, the meal began with a salad of fresh vegetables and shrimp roe, dressed with a light soy sauce. The crispness of the vegetables contrasted beautifully with the savory sauce, while the crunchy texture of the shrimp roe added a playful element to the dish. This simple yet elegant salad served as an excellent palate cleanser, preparing the diners for the culinary journey ahead.

Sprinkle shrimp eggs, considered fully dressed.

The executioner awaits.

Butter-roasted beetle

Next, the appetizer of baked mussels in butter arrived. The large New Zealand mussels were covered in a smooth and creamy cheese, the sweetness of the fresh mussels complementing the salty and savory flavors of the cheese. The chewy texture was a delightful experience.

Salmon Steak

The main course, "Salmon Steak," arrived. A large piece of salmon, pan-fried to a golden brown, was served with thyme, a zesty sauce, colorful vegetables, and a large, fried potato wedge. The fish was firm and juicy, not flaky, and the sauce had a tangy, creamy flavor. A squeeze of lemon, provided by the restaurant, added a refreshing touch of the sea.

Crispy Yellowfin Tuna

Drizzled with a rich savory sauce.

Pork Steak

The next dish was a pork steak with red wine sauce. The thick, tender pork loin was served with a trio of vegetables: baby carrots, fried potatoes, and grilled oyster mushrooms. The steak was generously coated in a rich red wine sauce, which could be replenished upon request. The pork was cooked to perfection, revealing a juicy, slightly pink interior when sliced.

Beef Steak

Tenderloin steak, perfectly grilled and seasoned with thyme, served with a medley of colorful vegetables, crispy fries, and grilled oyster mushrooms. The medium-rare steak boasts a juicy, pink center, complemented by a rich black pepper sauce. Paired with a glass of red wine, this dish delivers a symphony of flavors, enhancing the sweetness of the meat and the boldness of the sauce.
