Hello NTgoes everywhere, we're back in Phuket again!

Despite numerous trips to Phuket, my experiences have been limited to adventurous activities like diving and boat rides, leaving me with no time for relaxation before returning to work.

This time, we came to Phuket for a real, relaxing vacation. So, we decided to stay at the 'Hotel Ikon Phuket'!

DAY 1.

This trip to Phuket was made possible by Thai Lion Air.

Upon arriving in Phuket in the late afternoon, we stopped for dinner in town at our usual spot, 'Too Ga Khao'.

After a satisfying meal, we set off for our accommodation.

Driving directions from Phuket Town to Hotel IKON Phuket:

  • Drive towards Karon Hill, passing Makro Karon on your right. Hotel IKON Phuket will be located on the right side of the road, just after the bend.

I arrived at Hotel Ikon just as it was getting dark.

Upon arrival, guests were greeted with refreshing welcome drinks before checking in.

We'll call it a night and head to bed. Tomorrow, we'll take you on a tour of Hotel Ikon.

DAY 2.

The bed was incredibly comfortable, making it difficult to wake up. However, we had to get up to enjoy breakfast together.

The breakfast room is located at the IKON cafe, right next to the pool.

The food is incredibly diverse and of exceptional quality.

After finishing the meal, we took a tour of the hotel and took some photos.

This pool area is the ultimate chill zone, and it's beautiful too.

The pool is always bustling with activity, making it a popular spot at Hotel Ikon Phuket.

Notably, the pool utilizes a saltwater system, which is gentler on the skin.

Additionally, there is a poolside Happy Hour from 3 pm to 5 pm.


Let's go check out the room. I arrived late last night, so I didn't get a chance to take any pictures. I'll take some in the morning.

Accommodation Options at IKON Hotel

The IKON Hotel offers four distinct room types, with prices subject to ongoing promotions. Below are the standard rates for each room category:

  • IKON Superior with breakfast: 2,500 ฿ (originally 5,000 ฿)
  • IKON Ocean with breakfast: 2,900 ฿ (originally 5,800 ฿)
  • IKON Ocean Premier with breakfast: 3,200 ฿ (originally 6,300 ฿)
  • IKON Triple with breakfast: Price available upon inquiry with the hotel.

Each room differs slightly in terms of view and bed size.

The rooms at Hotel Ikon Phuket are clean, comfortable, and visually appealing. The level of comfort and convenience provided is exceptional, deserving a perfect score of 10.


The balcony offers stunning views and is perfect for taking stylish photos. Every corner of this resort is truly picturesque.

In the afternoon, we went for a walk on Kata Beach. The hotel provides a shuttle service to the beach, starting from 9:30 AM.

This time, we rented a car, so we didn't use the service.


We then ascended to pay respects at the Big Buddha Phuket, also known as Phra Phutta Ming Mongkol Akenakkiri.


The view from above is breathtaking, offering a panoramic vista of Phuket.

After paying respects at the temple, we returned to the hotel to have lunch at the Ombre restaurant.

The food tastes great, and the prices are in line with other hotel restaurants. The Ombre bar also has a happy hour.

Day 3.

The last day has arrived. Time always seems to fly by when we are on vacation.

We woke up, had breakfast, and checked out of the hotel today because we had to catch a flight at 3 pm.

This trip is truly a relaxing getaway.

This is truly heartwarming, as a good rest requires a pleasant environment. Hotel IKON certainly delivers on this front.

Every aspect, from service to environment and convenience.
