This is likely due to its greater distance from the capital compared to these popular tourist destinations. However, Chanthaburi also boasts beautiful beaches with crystal-clear water. It offers a wide range of tourist attractions, and during the fruit festival, tourists flock to the province to sample fruits directly from the orchards. Today, we would like to recommend a hotel to our friends: "Chaolao Toesang Beach". This beachfront hotel is located on Chaolao Beach, the most popular beach in Chanthaburi. Our room today is Beach View, which is a room that faces the sea at an angle. We can see the sea diagonally, but sitting here swinging on the swing, I can tell you that the sound of the waves is very clear. I wonder how clear it will be in the Beach Front room!

This newly renovated room will be a delightful place to stay. Let's take a look together.

The 34-square-meter room for two guests, decorated in white and blue, exceeded expectations. The small, tasteful details were just right.

The bathroom is spacious and clean, with bright white walls that are pleasing to the eye.

The room features a bathtub. Guests staying in this room are encouraged to bring foam bath to create a luxurious bubble bath and enjoy a relaxing soak in warm water.

This evening, we will dine at Seathru, the resort's only beachfront restaurant. Open from 6:30 AM to 11:00 PM, Seathru offers all-day dining options.

The atmosphere is great. Even though it's dark and I can't see the sea, I can clearly hear the sound of the waves.

Fried shrimp cakes served with plum sauce, a perfect light snack to enjoy while you wait for the main course.

Pla Phla Mueang Chanthaburi, a unique dish from Chanthaburi. This was my first time trying it, and the taste was surprisingly delicious. The dish is packed with a variety of herbs, creating a complex and flavorful experience.

Sun-dried Pork

This is a literal translation of "หมูแดดเดียว". However, depending on the context, there might be other, more nuanced translations that better capture the meaning.

Here are some possibilities:

  • Sun-dried pork strips: This is a more specific translation that describes the physical form of the dish.
  • Spicy sun-dried pork: This translation highlights the flavor profile of the dish, which is typically spicy.
  • Northern Thai sun-dried pork: This translation specifies the regional origin of the dish.
  • Jerky: This is a more general term that encompasses various types of dried meat, including sun-dried pork.

Ultimately, the best translation will depend on the specific context in which "หมูแดดเดียว" is used.

Sour curry with soft-shell crab... delicious. The taste is well-balanced.

To end on a sweet note, try the sago cantaloupe. It's incredibly delicious and fragrant with cantaloupe. If you're dining here, give it a try to cool down. It's incredibly refreshing.

Before bed, let's soak in some warm water... soak in the bubbles and relax for a bit after our skin has been exposed to the sun all day.

Waking up to a beautiful morning, I brewed myself a complimentary cup of tea or coffee, which is available in every room for free. I sipped it leisurely while checking my work. The welcome fruits haven't been finished yet, so I'll have some more before heading to breakfast.

We'll meet at the usual place, the Sea Thru Restaurant. It's the best place for the view, hands down! Usually, there are monks walking along the beach collecting alms, but I checked with the hotel today, and they said the monks won't be coming. So, we'll have to skip that.

Enjoy the cool air conditioning inside while comfortably serving yourself food without having to walk far.

The breakfast buffet offers a wide variety of options, including an egg station, a congee stall, noodle dishes, rice, Thai and international cuisine, and sweet treats.

A simple breakfast like this is all I need… a cup of coffee, a slice of bread, and hours to soak it all in.

Indulge in a cup of coffee while basking in the breathtaking view before you. Feel the sand beneath your feet as you soak in the moment. It's truly exquisite.

The fun is over, it's time to return to reality... For those who are visiting Chanthaburi, there are many other famous tourist attractions, such as the Chanthaburi Catholic Church (Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception), Chicken Dung Prison, Red Building, Oasis Sea World.

Pliew Waterfall, the scenic viewpoint of Nang Phaya Hill, Ao Kung Kraben - Laem Sadet, the pink rock beach. The hottest season here is the fruit season, where you can enjoy fresh fruits straight from the orchard. We plan to come back again this year and stay here again. We are very impressed with the service, the newly renovated rooms with a modern look, the beautiful beach in front of the hotel where you can swim, the beachfront swimming pool, and the all-day dining restaurant. You can say that you don't have to go anywhere when you come here. It's truly complete.

Before returning home, I stopped by Yai Tu Seafood Restaurant, Branch 2, which is not far from the hotel. The prices are reasonable, and the food is quite good.
