"Oh my god! Look! It's all the celebrities!" We screamed excitedly, but tried to keep our composure.

"Who are those people sitting at our table?" I whispered to the lady boss.

"Health & Cuisine" - Auntie's response.

"Oh my, how did a duck-billed platypus appear here?" I thought to myself, feeling my body go limp.

The Curious Invitation to Manorah Restaurant's 10th Anniversary Celebration

We were unexpectedly invited as media to the 10th anniversary celebration of Manorah Restaurant at Impact Muang Thong Thani.

Thank you to the host for the warm welcome to our humble page.

This review highlights the delicious food I enjoyed at the event, providing valuable information for those seeking quality meals at affordable prices during trade shows at the Challenger Hall.

Spicy Stir-Fried Chicken – 160 Baht

The stir-fried chicken is tender, with a salty flavor that is followed by a strong aroma of spices. The spiciness is slow to start, like a train, but then it quickly accelerates and hits the skin, causing the face to turn red and sweat to break out. Those who cannot handle spicy food, like myself, will need to take several sips of water to cool down.

This dish lacks sweetness entirely. Personally, I find it difficult to eat.

Pomelo Salad with Fresh Shrimp - 150 Baht

A sweet and sour pomelo salad with a generous amount of sauce, featuring the tangy flavor of pomelo and a salty note. The aroma of tamarind juice and other ingredients like roasted coconut, shallots, and fried shallots wafts through the dish.

The restaurant uses large white shrimp with firm, bouncy flesh that fills your mouth.

Chili paste with shrimp paste and grilled mackerel - 180 baht

A delectable shrimp paste chili dip, boasting a harmonious blend of sweet, sour, salty, and mildly spicy flavors. This culinary masterpiece is best enjoyed with an assortment of fresh vegetables, and pairs perfectly with grilled mackerel and acacia omelets.

However, the acacia omelet has been removed from the menu today. The restaurant would like to introduce a new dish: rice balls.

Do you want to eat it with shrimp paste chili dip?

Yes, it is because it is a rice ball stuffed with mackerel.

In my childhood, my family would break apart pieces of mackerel, mix them with rice by hand to form a ball, add a little shrimp paste chili dip, and then pop it into their mouths. This dish evokes that same feeling.

Sea Bass with Fish Sauce - 395 Baht

Crispy-skinned, tender sea bass, expertly deboned for a hassle-free dining experience.

Served with a flavorful dipping sauce, fragrant with chili and garlic, but not as spicy as one might expect. This was the dish that my aunt and I agreed was the most delicious on the table.

Andaman Hot Pot - 320 Baht

Aromatic tom yum soup brimming with fresh seafood, including blue crab, New Zealand mussels, sea bass, and white shrimp, cooked to perfection.

A delightful blend of tangy, sweet, salty, and mildly spicy flavors, infused with the fragrant aromas of galangal, lemongrass, and kaffir lime leaves. The broth is incredibly smooth and satisfying, while the fish boasts an exceptionally firm and bouncy texture.

The woman's eyes lit up at the sight of the crab, but she hesitated, not wanting to offend her companions. So, she left it floating in the pot.

Summary

High-quality food at prices comparable to other restaurants.

Excellent service. If this standard is applied to all customers, they will surely be loved and adored.

+ The spacious restaurant with a high ceiling creates a comfortable and airy atmosphere.

- The stir-fried dish was a bit too spicy for our taste.

- The other media members ate very quickly. We hadn't even finished our meal when they all got up and left. ... Boo hoo.
