Sane Cafe & Workshop: A Modern Cafe Embracing Traditional Thai Sweets

Sane Cafe & Workshop is a haven for young Thais who adore traditional Thai desserts. This cafe is a must-visit for all "aor jao" (a term of endearment for Thais) who appreciate the unique flavors and cultural significance of these sweet treats.

Who would have known that there would be a "Sane Cafe & Workshop" in the Khao San Road alleyway?

The starting point of our encounter with this cafe was our search for a chic cafe to relax in after a tiring day. We searched for a long time and finally stumbled upon Saneh Cafe, which serves Thai desserts alongside various beverages.

From the Sam Yot Intersection, walk approximately 150 meters. The location is across from Khao San Road, next to the Burger King restaurant.

Upon entering the establishment, one is greeted by a display case showcasing an array of traditional Thai sweets, instantly immersing patrons in the allure of authentic Thai confectionery. Three young individuals, embodying the spirit of the new generation, extend a warm welcome and provide attentive service to customers. Seating arrangements are thoughtfully provided for the convenience of patrons.

Typically, coffee shops offer bread, sandwiches, croissants, etc. However, the charm of this shop lies in its serving of Thai desserts alongside various beverages, making for a delightful and visually appealing experience.

The price of the dessert is 10-12 baht per piece, or you can choose to order a set with a drink.

The Thai desserts at this shop are made fresh every day. You can see this from where we are sitting, as the owners take turns making and serving fresh Thai desserts all the time.

In addition to being a cafe, there are also workshops for you to learn how to make Thai desserts to win the hearts of your loved ones.

If you have the chance to visit Khao San Road, don't forget to experience the charm of Thai desserts at Sane Cafe.
