A short weekend getaway. Many people who want to relax are probably looking for a place to visit near Bangkok. Pattaya is a popular choice because it's easy to get to and convenient. Today, I would like to introduce Pattaya in a chic and stylish way, according to our gang's style. We started our journey from Bangkok around 9:00 AM. It was raining heavily all the way. We prayed that it would stop raining when we arrived. 5555555 Because we were going to a water park, if it rained this much, our plan would definitely be ruined. But when we arrived, thank God, the rain stopped and the weather was nice. There was no sun and it was cool. This is the advantage of coming to the sea during the rainy season. But the disadvantage is that you have to risk the rain. 555
The water park we visited today is Ramayana Water Park.
Open daily from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
Ticket prices can be viewed at https://www.ramayanawaterpark.co.th/select-tickets/. Booking online is cheaper than buying at the water park entrance.
The water park is located approximately 15 kilometers from Pattaya, near Khao Chi Chan and Silverlake Vineyard. This location offers stunning views, with mountains contrasting against the water, creating a chic and stylish atmosphere. The views from the high rides are particularly breathtaking, making it an ideal spot for taking photos.

The Thrills of Ramayana Water Park
Ramayana Water Park boasts an impressive 21 water slides, offering a thrilling experience for all ages. While some slides were undergoing maintenance during our visit, we managed to conquer every operational one. Initially, some of us were hesitant, opting out of certain slides or only attempting a few. However, witnessing the joy of others and the enthusiastic encouragement from the lifeguards, who assured us the slides weren't as intimidating as they seemed, gradually persuaded even the most apprehensive among us to give it a shot. The lifeguards' vivid descriptions of the exhilarating experience further fueled our desire to conquer our fears. Ultimately, we embraced the challenge, determined to make the most of our visit. And indeed, the experience proved to be exhilarating and thoroughly enjoyable. Perhaps the presence of our large group contributed to the fun, as the camaraderie and shared laughter amplified the excitement. Witnessing our friends' hilarious expressions as they braved the slides added an extra layer of amusement.
To make it even more fun, we decided to have a competition before we came. We watched the show "Ladyboys Go Thailand" where they competed on this ride, so we decided to give it a try ourselves. It turned out to be hilarious, especially when the water hit our faces on the way down. 5555
The passage describes a thrilling amusement park ride that requires two riders. The author emphasizes the safety measures in place, noting that staff members are constantly monitoring riders and ensuring their safety. Additionally, the author advises wearing appropriate attire, such as swimwear, to avoid any potential issues with clothing getting caught on the ride.
For families with children, there are dedicated zones for kids, including a lazy river for floating, the Aqua Play zone with slides for children aged 3-14, and the Aqua Splash zone with water sprayers and sprinklers for toddlers.

This zone is a favorite among children. When the water reaches a certain level, a large tank above will tip, pouring water down. Before it tips, a warning sound will play, prompting children and even adults to stand and wait for the water to cascade down. The excitement is palpable as everyone screams with delight.
The highlight of everyone's trip was the live band. It was so much fun, it felt more like a party than a water park! The band was excellent, entertaining both adults and children who were singing and dancing in the pool. It was a great way to relax and unwind after a day of playing on the water slides.
Other details about the water park:
- You can use a wristband as a pass to pay for food and drinks, so you don't need to carry cash. Just top up the wristband, which is convenient and easy. Your money won't get lost. After topping up, you can keep it in a locker.
- The rental fee for a large locker is 190 baht, and a towel is 99 baht. You can bring your own towel. If you come with several people, you can share a locker and don't need to rent one for everyone.
- There are many food and beverage shops inside the water park. If adults who come as a family do not play in the water, there are Thai massage services available. The price of food and drinks is considered reasonable for a tourist attraction, and the portions are generous. The taste is good, which was unexpected.
- If you come as a gang or a large family, it is recommended to rent a private cabana. There are three prices: 700, 1,200, and 1,900 baht, depending on the number of people.
Sugar Beat Pattaya: A Budget-Friendly Oasis
After a refreshing day at the water park, we retreated to Sugar Beat Pattaya, our go-to accommodation for 80% of our Pattaya visits. The allure lies in its charming rooms, each boasting unique designs at an affordable price range of 700-800 baht. Strategically located between Jomtien and Pattaya, the guesthouse offers convenient access to various attractions. However, its position within a soi (alley) might pose a challenge for those without personal transportation, as walking can be tiring. Nevertheless, for those who prefer a walkable location, the distance shouldn't be a deterrent. It's important to note that the guesthouse lacks a swimming pool.
The interior of the accommodation is decorated in a cute and stylish way, making it ideal for young and trendy travelers.
The accommodation does not include breakfast, but if you would like to have breakfast here, it is available. The food is beautifully presented and reasonably priced. The seating area is also charming.
The room we chose today is Room No. 10_Tropical Delight, a tropical-style room decorated with natural materials and a minimalist aesthetic.
Before returning to Bangkok, we stopped by A' La Campagne Pattaya, which means "countryside" in French. The project aims to present the concept of young people who love to travel and are passionate about art, interested in life and culture. It is a concept created by simulating a small village in the European countryside. The fictional town is abandoned but still architecturally beautiful.
Upon stepping out of the car, I instantly fell in love with this place! 5555555555 This is a super chic new spot that perfectly aligns with our travel concept. Every corner is photo-worthy!
The tea factory offers tea, coffee, and cake. The cake is delicious and not overly sweet. Normally, I wouldn't expect much from a beautiful restaurant, but the cake here is truly excellent. In addition to desserts, there are also European-style dishes available, but the prices are a bit high in my opinion. For example, a plate of spaghetti costs over 300 baht. So, we went to the other side for some local food, like papaya salad. The restaurant has two sections, but even the cheapest papaya salad starts at over 100 baht. So, if you're looking for a full meal, it's probably best to eat elsewhere and then come here for cake.
The name itself suggests that it is a rural village. Therefore, there are farms and gardens here, which is very cool. They have done a good job, and the area seems quite spacious. There are horses, goats, chickens, pigs, and more, all neatly organized. You can feed them by purchasing food at the entrance.
After finishing at the cafe, we planned to buy seafood to take back to Bangkok. Initially, we wanted to go to Ang Sila, but it was too far and time-consuming. So, we searched for reviews to see if there were any seafood markets in Pattaya that offered grilling services. We came across Talad Larn Pho in Pattaya Naklua. I'm not sure if the prices are cheaper or more expensive than other places, but I thought the quality was good. We bought some seafood and had them cook it for us. The cooking fee was 30 baht per kilogram. We had a great time eating it when we got back. If you're in the area, be sure to stop by.
The two-day, one-night trip passed quickly, and it happened to coincide with the Pattaya International Fireworks Festival, making the atmosphere even more lively. It was a truly enjoyable weekend getaway. If you're looking for a quick escape, a short drive to Pattaya is a great option. You can experience the seaside ambiance without actually going to the beach (unless you want to, of course). Alternatively, you can enjoy the crystal-clear water at the water park and have fun on the exciting rides. When you're tired, indulge in delicious seafood or relax at a trendy cafe. There are also many new attractions opening up, and some existing ones have been renovated, ensuring that Pattaya never gets boring, no matter how many times you visit.
Where will the next trip be? Stay tuned for more updates. If you are interested, you can invite your friends or family to join us this Saturday or Sunday.
