Menu 1
Menu 2
The Otoku restaurant menu consists of two pages, which list the menu items, prices, and include some pictures of the dishes. It's important to note that there are a lot of menu items to choose from. More importantly, the food that arrives looks like it came straight out of the pictures! The size and presentation of the dishes are exactly the same as in the photos.
Food Order Form
Center: Food Order Form
Body:
When ordering food, we pick up the order form from the basket next to the soy sauce. The form allows you to choose between buffet or à la carte. Of course, we chose the buffet, because compared to the amount of food we will eat, the à la carte option is definitely not worth it! 555 Then, we need to enter the table number, which is displayed on the table. After that, we write down the quantity and hand it to the beautiful owner.
The atmosphere of the shop.
The front of the restaurant has posters of the food, while inside, the counter has ingredients on display in a glass case, similar to other Japanese restaurants. The restaurant has two seating areas for customers to choose from: inside and outside. The inside area is air-conditioned and convenient for getting drinks, while the outside area is open-air with counter bar and table seating. The outside area is ideal for customers who come in the evening or at night when the weather is not hot, as they can enjoy the fresh air and the view of the Chao Phraya River.

Salmon Sashimi
Our first dish is... Salmon Sashimi!!! The highlight of this dish is the salmon, which is cut into thick, long slices and arranged beautifully in the shape of a flower. It is served on a bed of daikon radish and ice, with a leaf-shaped wasabi on the side. The salmon is incredibly fresh and melts in your mouth. The homemade wasabi adds an extra kick, and the restaurant's special soy sauce is the perfect complement. This dish is a must-try for any salmon lover.
Salmon Yum
Moving on to the second dish, or rather, the second, third, and fourth dishes, because we ordered three plates of salmon yum! It goes without saying that it was delicious! What I really liked was that the restaurant diced the salmon into large cubes, and the salmon was soft and fresh. It was tossed with onions, tomatoes, and Chinese celery, and the restaurant's signature yum sauce was simply amazing! The yum sauce here is quite spicy and sour. If you like to eat yum, you won't be disappointed if you try this menu.
Spicy So Hot
Spicy So Hot, truly lives up to its name. The deliciousness is off the charts! This menu item is a salmon sushi, and what I love is that the rice is minimal, but the salmon comes in huge chunks. On top of the salmon, there is a slightly salty cheese, drizzled with mayonnaise and spicy sauce, sprinkled with shrimp roe, and then torched to bring it all together. While waiting for the restaurant to prepare this dish, I could smell the delicious aroma coming from the counter. This is another dish that I would highly recommend.
Salmon Cheese Roll
This dish is another cheese-based menu item, the Salmon Cheese Roll. Similar to the Spicy So Hot, this option comes in the form of a roll, but with the addition of crab sticks, sweet egg, cucumber, and seaweed. The highlight is the generous size of each piece, with the sweet egg and crab sticks adding a touch of sweetness. Notably, even the cucumber contributes a surprising sweetness, making this a well-balanced and delicious menu choice. For those who enjoy rolls, this is a highly recommended option. It is served with a side of wasabi.
Grilled Saba with Teriyaki Sauce
Taking a break from salmon, we move on to grilled saba with teriyaki sauce. It's worth mentioning that the teriyaki sauce here is incredibly delicious. The combination of perfectly grilled fish with crispy skin and tender flesh is truly satisfying. This dish is a great way to balance the richness of salmon, especially when you've had a bit too much.
Miso Soup
Miso soup, with its rich and savory flavor, is the perfect accompaniment to a warm meal. Its comforting warmth soothes the throat, allowing for a more enjoyable experience of the salmon.
Refillable Water
This restaurant offers refillable water, which you can serve yourself. There are three options: matcha green tea, Japanese white rice tea, and lemon tea. The matcha green tea is unsweetened, and the lemon tea is not too sweet even with ice.
