Driven by loneliness, we embarked on a journey to escape the blues, the sadness, and the stress, and to breathe in some fresh air. Inspired by recent reviews of the sea of mist at Phu Thap Boek, the author sought travel companions. The result was a group of five single individuals seeking solace in each other's company.

Due to the fear of being dumped (having been hurt a lot), the author chose October 30-1, giving them 5 days to prepare their bags. They encourage readers not to worry too much about preparation, as only a positive attitude is necessary. This is the author's first review, and they apologize for any mistakes.

We departed from Chonburi on Friday, October 29, 2017, at 10:00 PM. We arrived at Phu Thap Boek at 5:00 AM. The weather was cool and comfortable. We washed our faces and brushed our teeth at the tourist service point at Rai Rim Pha. We intended to see the sea of fog at the Rai Rim Pha viewpoint, but we were disappointed again because it was raining. We didn't see the sea of fog. Our mood was a bit gray. Let's go see the pictures and a short review.

A farm on the edge of a cliff in Phu Thap Boek. It's raining lightly and there's fog, but no sea of fog.

Came across some kale, unfortunately it was raining.

Flowers... and the nymph (oops!) The second trip companion.

A thin mist and smoke, so similar that sometimes it's impossible to tell them apart. I wonder…

Flowers on the cliffside farm

We spent about half an hour at the farm on the cliff, thinking that we wouldn't see the sea of fog anymore. So we decided to go for breakfast.

Our breakfast was plain porridge, 35 baht with an egg, 40 baht. It was delicious, but I don't know if it was because I was hungry.

Eating congee while watching the drizzle, the air is a bit chilly.

While descending from Phu Thap Boek, we were fortunate to catch a glimpse of the mesmerizing sea of mist.

Next station: Wat Phra That Pha Sorn Kaew

After paying respects at the Phra That, we continued to Mo Aye Coffee Shop, a small and charming café with drinks priced between 85 and 110 baht.

Take a 30-minute break to enjoy some caffeine before continuing.

Free snacks are also available, and they are delicious.

In the afternoon, we continued our journey to the wind turbine viewpoint.

On October 10, 2017, we set out early in the morning to witness the breathtaking sea of mist at the Khao Kho Post Office viewpoint. However, our hopes were dashed as rain poured down, obscuring the mist and leaving us slightly disappointed.

On our way back, we stopped by Lopburi. My friend has a history here, so we wanted to visit. We stopped by the Kra Pao & Coffee shop, which has a beautiful view. There are yellow cosmos flowers, so we can take beautiful pictures together.

Two attractive young women secretly filmed customers at the store.
