Getting to the De Varee Jomtien Beach Hotel is a breeze. Simply drive along Jomtien Beach Road until you reach Soi Jomtien 14. Turn into the soi and drive for about 100 meters until you see the hotel's parking lot. The check-in entrance is also located at the back of the parking lot.


After parking the car, we checked in at the spacious lobby. We then went up to explore the room.


Our Deluxe Room is located on the 25th floor.


The first thing that made me exclaim "Wow!" when I opened the door to the room was the breathtaking ocean view from the balcony. It truly lived up to its reputation.


Enjoy the atmosphere of the sea view that comes with the strong wind blowing against your face. Let's turn our attention back to our bedroom, the room where I stayed is a single room with a double bed. We can choose whether we want a single bed or a double bed by informing the staff at the check-in point.


The bathroom is of moderate size, featuring a bathtub for soaking with a transparent glass wall. This allows for enjoying sunset views while bathing.


Let's take a look at the amenities available in the room. These include a safe, hairdryer, tea, coffee, bottled water, and a smart TV.

In the late afternoon, when the army had to march on its stomach, we went out to find something to eat at DaRe, a Japanese restaurant at the Devarana Jomtien Hotel.

Darar Restaurant is located in front of the Devarana Hotel, on Jomtien Beach Road, at the entrance of Soi Jomtien 14.

Japanese cuisine is available from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

From 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM, a Japanese buffet will be available.


The interior of the restaurant is decorated in warm tones, creating a relaxing atmosphere. It tends to be crowded during lunchtime and in the evenings when the buffet is available. We arrived in the late afternoon, which was a good thing as it was less crowded and we could choose our seats freely.


Feeling hungry? Let's order some food! If you're craving Japanese cuisine, don't miss out on this assorted sashimi set. It features thick, succulent slices of salmon, tuna, and mackerel.



Next up, we have the must-try Spicy Salmon Salad. Tender salmon pieces are tossed in a tangy and spicy dressing, guaranteed to tantalize your taste buds.


Another must-try when enjoying Japanese cuisine is the avocado seaweed wrap. This rice ball is filled with avocado and cucumber, then coated with shrimp roe for a generous bite.


In addition, there are many other menus to choose from.

In addition to Japanese cuisine, there is also a salad bar with fresh vegetables to enjoy with a variety of salad dressings, at an affordable price of only 90 baht per plate.


Now that we are full, let's do something to help with digestion. There are two swimming pools here. The first pool is located on the 5th floor and is a small pool, but it is more private. There is also a spa service at the entrance to the pool, but we did not use it because we wanted to swim instead.


The other swimming pool is located on the 1st floor. This pool is more popular than the pool on the 5th floor because it is larger. Importantly, it also has a small jacuzzi.


This zone features a swimming pool, a fitness center, and a Kid's Club for the enjoyment of guests.


As the saying goes, "An army marches on its stomach." After all the activities that have left us exhausted, we need to refuel. We head to D.I.B. Sky Bar, a restaurant and bar on the 38th floor.

The restaurant is divided into three zones. The first zone is the indoor area when you enter. The left side is the outdoor zone in front of the kitchen, where you can enjoy the view of Sattahip and Bang Saray. The last zone is the popular outdoor zone, where you can enjoy the view of Pattaya City. We chose this zone.

The rooftop location of the hotel offers stunning views. For the best sunset experience, arrive between 5:30 PM and 6:00 PM, when the light is most beautiful. While we arrived a little late and missed the peak light, the view was still breathtaking. Instead of words, let the pictures speak for themselves.

When the sky darkens, we will meet the stars on earth at Pattaya.
