Hello everyone! This is our first review after spending a lot of time reading and watching other people's reviews. Today, we would like to share our own travel experience.
This trip will take you on a motorcycle ride to "Pilok" to see the misty fog, not far from Bangkok, just in Kanchanaburi.
Day 1
This journey was undertaken on our trusty motorcycles. Our group consisted of 7 members and 5 motorcycles. We departed from Bangkok in the early hours of the morning, heading straight for Kanchanaburi. We stopped for breakfast at the Thong Pha Phum market to fuel up before continuing our journey up the mountain.
After we have recharged our batteries, we continue our journey. Along the way, we encounter sunshine and rain. We persevere, for the reward will be great when we reach our destination.
Before reaching E-tong village, we will pass Thong Pha Phum National Park. The park offers accommodation, camping sites, and scenic viewpoints. However, we did not stop this time because our destination was **camping at Noen Chang Suk**.
Upon arriving at Khao Chang Suk, the crowd was still relatively sparse. We promptly set up our tent and secured a spot, as our itinerary included a trip to the mine. We anticipated that returning in the evening to set up camp would likely result in a shortage of available space.
Despite warnings, we stubbornly ventured into the mine, lured by the legendary "Auntie Gen's Cake." However, our efforts were futile, and we ended up rolling down the slopes in a comical fashion. As a passenger, I had to resort to walking. Fortunately, a kind miner who had just ascended offered us a ride. Accompanied by another young woman, we left the men to their motorcycles and enjoyed the delicious cake at a shop near the village. The owner revealed that their cakes were made with ingredients from the same mine, rendering our descent unnecessary.
After a short break, everyone emerged from the mine, and we returned to base. We all showered separately, and in the evening, we cooked and ate dinner together, chatting and enjoying the cool, breezy air. After a long day, we all slept soundly.
Day 2
After a tiring day of mining yesterday, we slept like a log last night. It also rained, so when we woke up this morning, we were greeted by this beautiful fog. The rainy season is truly amazing. The fog is so beautiful, and the wind is so cool.
After admiring the mist and the view from Khao Chang Suk for a while, our stomachs began to rumble. We packed up our tent and headed down to the village in search of breakfast. There were several restaurants to choose from, all with reasonable prices. We each chose a different dish and sampled almost everything. Afterwards, we took a leisurely ride around the village.
After we were full, we went to Jok Kradin Waterfall to cool off. The water was clear and cool. In fact, I've been to Pilok three times and I've never missed this waterfall.
After playing in the water, it's time to head home.
I arrived home late at night and fell asleep as soon as my head hit the pillow. See you on the next trip... Bye!
