Ban Na San district, located approximately 45 kilometers from Surat Thani city, is renowned for its fruits, particularly the Na San School Rambutan. This variety is characterized by its dry, flaky, crunchy, sweet, hairy, thin-skinned, and late-ripening fruit with green tips, making it the most delicious rambutan. The Na San School Rambutan has been registered as a Geographical Indication (GI) by the Department of Intellectual Property.
