⏤ Another weekend spent at the beach ⏤

Hello everyone :)

Lately, I've been spending a lot of time at the beach, even though I prefer the mountains.

But in the end, whenever I have a free day, I always end up at the beach.

(The real reason is because it's closer and easier to get to, haha)

Last Friday, I went to Cha-am with two friends. We drove there and had a relaxing time.

This trip was a way for us to unwind before the big storm that is our final year project.

We believe that every trip is a chance to recharge and find inspiration.

(Actually, you've been slacking off, haven't you? Tell me!)

✿ For this trip, we stayed at Talay Hotel & Villa Cha Am.

The hotel is adorable and has a very cozy atmosphere. It's decorated in a sea-themed color scheme of blue, brown, and pastel colors that are easy on the eyes. Plus, it's right on Cha Am beach.

That means you can walk out of your room and be on the beach. There are also plenty of photo spots and a swimming pool.

It's a great weekend getaway option near Bangkok.

Travel

Pin the location from Google Maps to navigate directly to the hotel.

Upon arriving at Cha-am district, enter Narathiwat Road and continue straight.

Then turn right into Ruamchit Alley, the hotel will be on your right-hand side.

LOBBY

We arrived when the sun was at its hottest, so we decided to take shelter inside.

In front of the lobby, there are chill-out seats decorated with lush greenery.

It's easy on the eyes and blends well with the wooden tones. As we walked in, the staff warmly welcomed us.

This corner is perfect for a relaxing coffee break!

After checking in, the staff will escort you to your room.

The hotel offers a variety of room types, including Superior, Deluxe, Deluxe Seaview, and Family.

Today, we are staying in a Deluxe room.
The room is located on the 4th floor. Let's go check it out!

Upon entering, you'll be greeted by a vibrant, ocean-blue wall that instantly catches your eye. The room is decorated in a minimalist style, featuring a work desk, TV, and various amenities. Additionally, there's a balcony where you can step out and enjoy the view. While our room doesn't offer a direct sea view, if you lean out a bit, you can catch a glimpse of the ocean on the left-hand side.

The bathroom also features a blue and brown color scheme, creating a clean and relaxing atmosphere.

Let's take a look at some other types of rooms.

This is a Family room for 4 people. It has a connecting door between the two rooms.

The space is huge! You can even play board games on the floor. 5555

This is the Family room, which can accommodate 5 people.

It has two large beds and a small bed, with a gimmick that the stairs are like sleeping on a bunk bed.

Cute! The bathroom has a bathtub.

Unlike other rooms that only have a shower, wow!

This room also has a view of the swimming pool.

After a walk around, we had lunch.

Next to the lobby is Three Faces Pizza & Koffeebar, which offers a variety of pizzas.

The decoration is very cute. The day we went, the weather was perfect, so the sunlight filtered through the trees in front of the shop, giving it a bit of a Japanese feel.

The swimming pool is located on the second floor of the building behind the main one. It's small and cute, perfect for relaxing.

After settling into our room and taking a stroll around the accommodation,

we decided to explore the nearby area. Our first stop was the Cha-am Beach viewpoint, located right in front of our accommodation.

The beach is very quiet with almost no people. It's nice and peaceful.

The sky is very clear today.

After discussing our options, we decided to visit Khao Sam Roi Yot National Park, which we discovered was located nearby. (Well, not exactly nearby - it was 90 kilometers away!) However, our desire to hike and explore a new place motivated us to make the drive.

Upon arrival, purchase your park entrance tickets at the visitor center.

The entrance fee is 40 baht per person. Then, embark on a hike to the Khao Daeng viewpoint.

The last time we went, we arrived around 3:30 PM, which was just before the 3:30 PM cut-off time.

Please translate the following sentence from Thai to English:

No sooner had we arrived at the viewpoint than the sky grew overcast and the wind picked up.

These were ominous signs...

As soon as we started descending the mountain, the rain came pouring down.

Luckily, our friend had brought an umbrella, so we slowly climbed down and waited for the rain to subside.

When we reached the bottom, the park ranger was still waiting for us because he knew we were the last group to go up.

"Your legs are all muddy and red from mosquito bites. Next time, bring mosquito repellent,"

The park ranger said, and he even helped us by giving us clean water to wash our legs.

Thank you for helping and waiting to send us off, huhu TT

After returning to our accommodation and taking a shower and getting dressed, we went out to find something to eat.

We searched Tripadvisor and found this pink Volkswagen restaurant, which is a cocktail bar.

It's called LONG MA DAG, which translates to "Long Ma Dag" in Thai. Hehe.

Please provide the text you want translated from Thai to English.

Day 2

Good morning!

We woke up early to watch the sunrise at Cha-am beach, as usual. It was absolutely stunning!

Our ABF

This is the common balcony on the 4th floor. You can go out and enjoy the sea view. In the morning, you can also sneak out to watch the sunrise from here.

This is a paragraph with no text.

I took myself out, escaped the computer screen to sit and watch the waves.

It's this kind of fun. Anyone who wants to relax but doesn't want to go far, come and let the sea heal your body and mind.

See you on the next trip <3
