Private area....Koh Chang
Private space... ever?.... Want to travel with private space? Go on a trip without having to think too much, like being stranded on an island, but also want to be comfortable? Come to think of it, hey... why do I know so much? Is there really a place like that.....
For those seeking a nearby beach paradise, Koh Chang is a perennial favorite. Its stunning scenery and accessibility, allowing for car transport, make it an ideal destination. This trip to Koh Chang was exceptional, as we had the opportunity to create a private haven at Sea View Koh Chang, a secluded beachfront resort nestled on Klong Prao Beach. Our 3-day, 2-night stay was an absolute delight. Let's dive into the review!
As the second largest island in Thailand, Koh Chang is easily accessible by car ferry. Departing from Ao Thammachat Pier, ferries operate every 45 minutes from 6:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with a travel time of only 30 minutes.
.
The boat fare is 120 baht for a car and 80 baht per passenger.
After a short drive from Ao Sapparot Pier, we arrived at our accommodation, Sea View Koh Chang. Let me tell you, the resort is HUGE! It's absolutely amazing!
Astonished by the resort's vastness, we proceeded to our accommodations. Our lodging was a recently completed Pool Villa Suite, still warm from construction and ready for its first guests. Let me tell you, the space was enormous and incredibly private, much to my delight. This time, I was truly satisfied.
As it is brand new, Gwin volunteers to be a guide for her friends to explore this house.
Let's start with the living room. The large sofa with various cushions allows us to lie down and watch TV comfortably.
In addition to the sofa, the living room also has a coffee grinder with freshly roasted coffee beans for us to grind ourselves. Let me tell you, this is real fresh coffee.
The Bedroom: A Vital Space
Moving on to the next room, a crucial and indispensable space: the bedroom.
Our bedroom has direct access to the pool, so you can jump in for a swim as soon as you wake up. It's pretty cool, right?
"One is for use, one is for show. Sa, please sync for Pae."
Yes, the bathroom here has two sinks....55555
.
The bathroom is also very large.
Of course, there must be a pool villa with a swimming pool, right?
The pool's size is perfect, allowing for a leisurely swim while enjoying the sunset. Additionally, the pool can be converted into a jacuzzi, making it even more enjoyable.
Furthermore, there is a private rooftop where you can sit and enjoy afternoon tea or sunbathe while enjoying the panoramic sea view. This is perfect for those who love to relax and unwind.
As a sprawling green resort, the property offers a cable car for guest convenience, eliminating the need for strenuous walks.
Let's get out of the room and breathe in the fresh sea air. The first activity the resort offers is kayaking.
The resort's kayaking activity is unique in that we can kayak to the nearby Man Island, giving you the feeling of being stranded on a deserted island like in the movies.
Picnic on Koh Man Nai
The resort's attentiveness is commendable, offering a picnic set for guests to enjoy after a tiring paddle to the island. The set includes plates, spoons, and forks, conveniently packed in a bag for easy transport. Upon arrival, simply spread the set and enjoy a delightful meal. The lobster sandwich is particularly delicious.
.
320 Baht per person: Includes 2 hours of kayaking, sandwiches, and water.
Another interesting activity here is the Pizza Workshop. There are chefs who teach you everything from kneading the dough, spreading it into a round shape, adding toppings, and putting it in the charcoal oven. I have to say that it was difficult to make it round, but I was satisfied with the result.
A piping hot pizza fresh from the oven, made by Gwin himself. It's delicious too, thanks to the chef's preparation. 5555
The workshop concluded with the issuance of certificates to participants.

This activity costs 420 baht.
For our first dinner, we entrusted our stomachs to the Lighthouse Restaurant. It's a restaurant with the most stunning view on Koh Chang.
To stimulate our appetite, we need to whet our taste buds before a meal.
Sunset Shake is a One Cocktail or Mocktail & Snack set priced at 350 Baht. It is available from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM daily. Sipping cocktails while watching the sunset is a truly beautiful sight.

Here we go! My first dinner here is a feast with 3 full dishes. I'm stuffed!
1. Nicoise Salad with Tuna
2. Deep-Fried Calamari with Lime-Aioli
This translates to:
2. Deep-fried Calamari with Lime Aioli
- Mixed BBQ Seafood with Spicy Dipping Sauce.
Returning to our room at night, the beautiful scenery and pleasant atmosphere made it impossible for me to resist taking a relaxing bath.
This morning, we went diving to see the coral reefs. Before we went, we had to refuel. Our breakfast was chosen in advance, from the moment we checked in. The staff will let us choose our breakfast, which has a variety of menus to choose from, including American, French, English, or even Thai food. There are also desserts and coffee. The pancakes smell so good!

After we had our fill, we waited for the car to pick us up for scuba diving.
We booked a 4-island snorkeling tour through the resort for 600 baht. The four islands included Koh Yak Yai, Koh Yak Lek, Koh Rang, and Koh Wai.
Lunch is provided, and there is a shuttle service to and from the pier, making it extremely convenient.
The boat that took us was a wooden boat, but the special thing was that it had a slide. I had never seen anything like it before. At first, I was hesitant, but after trying it once, I found that it wasn't scary at all. I played on it over and over again.
This is our first time diving at Koh Chang. We usually dive in the Andaman Sea.
"Wow, this is amazing! Look at all the coral and fish! The little fish are swimming everywhere."
On the final night of our stay at the resort, the staff surprised us with a romantic dinner on the beach. With only one table set up on the entire stretch of sand, the atmosphere was incredibly intimate and romantic. If you're planning a getaway with your significant other, I highly recommend contacting the resort in advance to arrange this special experience. Due to its popularity, reservations are limited to one table per day and tend to fill up quickly. However, I assure you that it's an unforgettable experience that will leave you feeling butterflies in your stomach. The menu featured a delectable selection of seafood dishes, both savory and sweet, with bold and flavorful spices.
On the last morning on the island, the weather was clear and sunny. We took a walk on the Romantic Road of the resort.
An Exclusive Viewpoint
This resort boasts a unique advantage: a private viewpoint offering breathtaking panoramas of the azure sea and four stunning islands. These islands, Koh Man Nok, Koh Man Nai, Koh Wai, and Koh Hin Ngam, are majestically arranged in front of the resort. Unlike the crowded Kai Bae viewpoint, this secluded spot allows for tranquil contemplation of the scenery without the need to jostle with other visitors. The presence of swings further enhances the privacy and exclusivity of this vantage point.
Before crossing back to the other side, we stopped by a cafe on the way called WARI CAFE. It's a beachfront cafe with a great atmosphere. During the high season, they also offer massage services.
The review of Gwin's private trip has concluded.
I hope you enjoyed it… I hope this review will please those who enjoy seclusion like me.
See you again in the next review. I'll be leaving for today.
